I bought a combo washing + dryer machine online in 2021 July, and it stopped working on 8/10/2022. The technician from Fisher & Paykel came after 5 days and said some parts need to be ordered, which may take another week, but there is no loan machine available from the Fisher & Paykel, and the Bayswater store, two weeks after the down time, on 21/10/2022, a message sent to me that another 17 DAYS I need to wait to book a technician! Without a loan machine! In this spring season, for a two kids family.can you imagine how I have to handle the laundry for a month? ! I sent compliant to the store, and no feedback at all. So lessons learn for me: 1.do not buy combo because if it is down, you have nothing to use. 2.do not trust the promise of loan machine they made when you buy the machine, they will tell you no loan machine available when you need one.
Avoid the middle aged balding Indian man he is absolutely useless. He's made me never want to go to good guys again
My go to place of shopping.we have now purchased some major electronics here and the service is sublime.the staff here have always been an absolute pleasure.
Went in to look at 3 different bagless vacuums with my husband and son.
David was excellent in showing and demonstrating each vacuum.

Bought an electric bike Himo Z20 at Good Guys Bayswater. We returned the bike 2 months later, due to the battery is faulty (can't be fully charged). The staff give me option to get the battery they have from the display bike, but apparently the battery has been taken out the box and has been charged previously (used), so I don't want to take it. The staff advised me to bring back the whole bike (including battery, charger, etc), so I did. They asked me to drive to Thomastown to get the new bike (replacement). Arrived at Good Guys Thomastown they said there is no bike /stock. Called Good Guys Bayswater, they said will organise as urgent delivery from Hoppers Crossing which has few stocks. Followed up with Good Guys twice. Still no bike replacement after more than 7 days. Hope they can improve their services and give me the bike replacement I need.
Ordered a clothes dryer Delivery schedule 09/08 but not delivered without prior notice. Wasting time waiting all day but didn't deliver.and no apologies
A good size store with a big range of products. I like their price matching policy and also the surprise of finding some niche small kitchen and household gadgets here. Staff are generally helpful.
Needed a new TV found parking right out front at 5pm on a Thursday. Walked around for a while before someone approached me. I knew what I wanted so it was quick and easy. Only negative is it took ten minutes before I was approached by sales person and store was quite empty however the young Asian guy who helped me was very helpful.
Tried buying a heater today. Waited and waited for help. Front desk called for assistance 4 times. No one came. So I went to Bunnings. Not even bad service - no service!
We gave the salesman the details of what we wanted and he led us to the exact washing machine to suit our needs. Great price with a very smooth delivery and installation service. 10/10
Purchased a new washing machine & installation. Machine delivered and apparently installed & hoses connected. Old machine left on our front lawn to be collected later. Hoses to machine loose & cross threaded. Rang store to have installation checked. New installers eventually came. Ran the machine after they left. Completely flooded laundry as waste hose not connected at all. So after 6 installers attended, a flooded laundry & 1 week of sitting at home waiting to have the problems resolved, I received a phone call from the manager offering a discount on my next purchase! You have gotta be kidding Good Guys! Is that the best you can do? ️
How disappointing it was when I rang to ask about claiming a store credit on a recent purchase. The man I spoke to answered “you will get a text” and hung up. I was wanting to ask another question,
I phoned back, phone rang and rang eventually it was answered. I asked my other question and it was all explained to me, no hanging up involved. Just a simple question. So disappointed in original contact.
Went back to this store to request a refund for a product that didn’t work as intended. The manager we dealt with on Thursday night couldn’t care less and was very patronising. The younger staff members were also laughing which was a bit immature. Possibly worth considering a rebrand as the bad guys.
After an issue with our Breville Oracle coffee machine and getting the runaround from staff and company dealing with extended warranty cover, store Manager- Jonathan, stepped in and resolved the matter. Jonathan kept us regularly informed of the progress of the repair and assured us we would not be charged for the repair.
We are over the moon with Jonathan’s exceptional customer service and wouldn’t shop anywhere else.
I went to purchase a dryer. I was planning to spend $1500 to $2000 on a good quality dryer. I could not find a person to help me. I decide to go to the service desk. The lady at the desk was lovely but she could not find a staff member either. I left the store feeling very frustrated and I will not visit the Bayswater store again.
Fantastic service. Had to return an oven. Quick and easy, no questions asked. Even helped us identify one that is suitable for our very specific oven cabinet space.
Your Manager Alex from the Bayswater North Store was ridiculously rude & hung up on me as a customer who had a complaint due to receiving an email saying and item was available for pick up however wasn’t! He did not let me speak and just kept saying “actually no” cutting me off and then hung up on me. I called back and he then hung up the phone again! The customer service was disgusting.
