- played really good music including hey by pixies, loser by beck and half of the cures discography
- food was mostly great.in my opinion, the best dish i tried was the beef sliders or the buffalo wings.my least favourite was the kingfish sashimi; was pretty plain.
- service was outstanding with very friendly and helpful waiters and waitresses.
- although the layout was refreshing and something different, i found myself accidentally falling into or tripping over the lone poles a few times.
I wouldn't recommend anybody to go and eat at this restaurant the food is disgusting, everything I ordered was cold and when we rang up there establishment, all they said was it was our fault as they had it there on time and we were only 5mins late. What can I say I'm a chef myself and I wouldn't feed this food to a dog! I wouldn't recommendI wouldn't recommend thisI wouldn't recommend this placeI wouldn't recommend this place to anyone Wasted my money
Food amazing service very slow waiting for my food one an a half hour ridiculous after waiting so long didn't want to eat much anymore
Slow service. Honestly waited an hour for a drink. They ran out of ingredients, surely you would inform a patron earlier to offer an alternative. Same with the food there were quite a few menu items which were sold out.
Glass of wine $12 sat on my own feeling so not there.thought it would be more sociable not so. Only go if you are desperate otherwise better places around
Went for Mother's day dinner tonight with my husband and my son and daughter inlaw.ordered our meal.being Tapas you would think plates would come out one or two at a time.our first Tapas plate Bravas potatoes came out an hour after we sat down.followed half and hour later by chorizo.then pork belly and corn.they forgot our drinks and had to be reminded.my daughter inlaw and i decided not to wait for the final dish to come out which was the sliders but to order the dessert which was the Lava cakes.which if done right takes a good twenty minutes to cook so that when it comes out its googey inside.hence the meaning lava cake.it arrived 5 mins after we ordered it (and it was not a lava cake.more like a packet cake heated up in the microwave) and before the sliders which we had order nearly 2 hours earlier? They then apologise and promptly brought out the sliders to which was 1 plate of 2 poor little sliders. (we had ordered 2). This whole experience was below average and sadly we had the privilege of paying $199.00 for this sad experience.so The Garden of Good and Evil is more Evil then good.dont waste your time and money on a special occasion.go to Maccas.
Amazing ambience and food. Only regret was why we hadnt been there before. Will definitely go again.
Food was very average, went with a group of friends, ordered the marinara paellas, the paellas came with no scallops (as was told after our dish arrived the kitchen had ran out) and almost burnt rice.
Even though the food was nice, the wait was ridiculous. A little of the food came out within 30 minutes but most meals (a cheese platter!) took over 1 hour and 15 minutes and some were cold! Won’t be coming back, sorry.
Had some tapas and a glass of wine. Sat on a table at the front as we had our dog with us. The back courtyard area was very popular. Waiter was welcoming and helpful. Food was delicious. Would come again.
Extremely poor. My family and friends visit regulary. I booked a table for tonight but my girlfriend couldn't make it due to the horrendous weather. So I cancelled 10 hours before. Still charged $20 per person. We won't visit again. The cancellation was out of our control.
The food was really tasty. Some of it came out relatively quickly, but some took a long time. It's a very nice atmosphere outside, but inside is not so much. The range of vegetarian/vegan options was quite limited. Some of the dishes were quite expensive. Overall, I had an enjoyable time and would recommend.
Great atmosphere and staff. Didnt realise it had a large outdoor area around the back. Loved the lamb and had a great drinks menu. Paella didn't have a crispy bottom, more of a risotto. Otherwise everything else was good.
Really yummy food & lovely service! The staff were attentive & courteous & the food was really good! Not overly expensive.it was a very enjoyable evening & we’ll definitely come back again.
Just had a delicious roast chicken home delivery for Mother's Day (during covid restrictions). So, so yum. Thanks a lot.
Love this place thanks guys for making my mums Mother’s Day perfect. The lunch you delivered was amazing and so much food mum was so impressed. Great idea thanks guys
Food was amazing and the staff were fantastic! Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy a night out. Gorgoues little spot.
Had birthday dinner here with my fiancé and I have to say the food was exceptional, excellent service and coupled by an amazing vibe. We will definitely return.
We were pleasantly surprised to find The Garden of Good & Evil is a Tapas and Wine Bar. We ordered a variety of small dishes and enjoyed the flavours. Friendly service and a nice vibe to the place including a courtyard out the back.
Quite good. The waiter couldn’t tell me anything about the ciders. The halloumi fries were incredibly good.
The beer garden is very nice, great feel, though the music is to loud.
