Yeah nah. This servo and its cousin across the freeway used to be where I'd stop between Melbourne and the NSW border. I don't know if there's been a change of management, but the food was rubbish. I'm trying to avoid Maccas and KFC. Back to Avenel I suppose.

Stopped for a toilet break and possibly lunch. But upon seeing how disgraceful and dirty this foodary was we left. The concrete leading into the place looks like it has not been cleaned for a long time with reminance of food and drink. Tables inside not cleaned, toilets so dirty and some toilets the locks didn't work. Won't be back.

On the way we stopped for drinks and food but when we got to the entrance there was rubbish on the ground, so we went inside to get food, and low and behold there were flies in we're the sandwiches were kept even another dad said do you really want to eat here but the kids were hungry but we high tailed out of there as quickly as we could it was the worst place I've been to never go there again

Used to be really good, Rock up for a fully cooked breakfast pre covid. 1st time back after covid no more cooked brekkies, just pre-packaged rolls & other fried stuff.
Only one serving area now, very disappointing to see it go this way. Will not return.

Toilets were not open to public that day. So, stop somewhere else if you need to use toilet.

Improved a lot since referbished, much improved toilet facilities, were clean and well maintained. Friendly staff, coffee reasonable. Thank you

Always been good fresh food when we have dropped in on our way up the Hume. Nice coffee and plenty of electronic leads and snacks as well.

Jacinta the nightshift lady was very helpful, made my food and coffee promptly and asked how I liked it! Also didn’t know the area very well and she gave me great directions to get to my destination!

Customer service appalling old lady named lucinda she needs lesson in customer service she ignored me thrice when i asked her to take out bacon from muffin she told that I couldn’t do it and I ordered coffee then my another friend asked for coffee she told me that why you can’t do it together racist old lady i ever met in my decade in victoria

Imagine rolling into a roadhouse after a long night / morning, and ordering a bacon and egg sandwich to have the woman serving you roll her eyes, and shake their head because “I’ll have to cook that”. Well. Isn’t that what you’re employed to do? Seriously. Won’t bother stopping here again. A whole 3 customers on site and you give attitude regarding cooking a bacon and egg sandwich. Pathetic. After about 15 mins I received a poor excuse for a bacon and egg sandwich, and hadn’t even put sauce on as requested. 2: 30pm, June 12th 2021

I was using this pump from couple of months to fill my truck and i always filled expensive diesel here
sometimes it was $1.5 but we did not get any tissues, wipes not even water properly to clean our trucks.
Staff is very friendly but they need to lookafter to this part of their filling station.

Really liked the place it saved us with a great lunch during our travel to Bright.

We ordered the Spicy wings which was great. The Kids enjoyed the battered dog. But I would stay away from the Singapore Noddle (Cold version).

It was good stop to fill the tank and stretch ur legs on a big travel.

Will visit again

Often travel the Hume hwy Melb to Albury. Always used avenel rd house for breky for yrs. Changed to Caltex foodary tallarook 2yrs ago. After this morning's terrible unfriendly service and dry as dry bacon and egg, and the soggy cold hash brown am going back to Avenel for our breky stops

When it comes to the Western freeway, one cannot beat Ampol on price for fuel! I have compared fuel prices, exiting Melbourne on the western freeway and hands down, Ampol stands out everytime.

Had a lovely stop here on the way home to Melbourne. We got two potato cakes, some chips and two Cokes (one vanilla, one normal). We also utilised the bathrooms. Overall we had a great experience; the potato cakes were a great ratio of potato to batter and the chips were impressively crunchy. We had tomato sauce in the car so can’t comment on the sauce unfortunately. You had to add your own salt to the chips which was okay but there was no chicken salt.

Would not recommend this place. The food wasn't all bad, however after waiting a long time to get it made, and purchasing an (overpriced) beverage from the fuel side, the young man there 'Jaydan' appeared to hit on me in a sexual manner. Maybe I read too much into it, but it definitely seemed to be some sort of homosexual flirting from him that made me uncomfortable

Went through on the return trip from melbourne to stretch out. Polite staff, was able to use the bathroom fill up etc no hassles.

We filled up with diesel here and used the toilets, they were clean without any nasty smells like a lot of them. I recommend this fuel and food stop.
