A surprise in the suburbs. What looked like take away coffee at first turned into a sit down lunch in a bakery. Not just any bakery either. This bakery grinds its own flour and probably sells bread to nearby business.

If you're in the area it's definitely worth coming in and having a look. They also sell flour and jams among other things.

I absolutely loved my experience here.an old warehouse engineered into a spacious bakehouse will all the modern fittings.i ordered pancakes with maple syrup for breakfast & it was mouthwatering. & the flour house burger for lunch was a real treat.this joint is all about attention to detail the MELBOURNE way.a masterpiece.

Man, my lunch was amazing! Sat down and read my book over a large cup of coffee and an amazing baguette.

I really liked both the space and the staff. The place was cheerful and peaceful. Really nice use of a warehouse space.

The food was delish! I ordered a chocolate croissant as I walked out the door and was pleasantly surprised by both my bill and the crackly texture of my bread.

Absolutely will be going back.

A must try bakery if you are around here. Such a nice shop, they freshly bake the bread at the back, spacious dining tables for group and individual are very inviting for sitting, front door for quick take away. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming.

One of the best croissants I’ve ever had can’t believe how lucky I am to have got 1 of the last 4 croissants at 1.30pm. Perfectly flaky but soft and buttery

As a former french baker I used to make my own sourdough bread at home, not anymore
as The Flour House breads well surpass the quality of my own production. Sourdough, baguettes, croissants.

Delicious Hot Cross Buns, tempted the north-sider's down to bayside and they weren't disappointed. All your bread is amazing and the sweet treats are just too tempting. Thank goodness I can order on line to stop me being tempted by all the goodies over the counter.
