The Flames reviews
16Dinner at Flames twice this month. Food is always good. Prefer to eat in to enjoy their freshly cooked naan and roti breads at their best. Waitress friendly and restaurant lovely and warm on a Wintry night
We got takeaway - the menu wouldn’t open, the ordering system kept failing us and the person on the phone advised that we couldn’t do a phone order so we had to drive there to order and wait for our food. This wasn’t ideal and could be improved on.
The butter chicken and biryani was really good. The samosa and seekh kebab were not good. Wouldn’t recommend these - samosa was just not tasty at all and seekh kebab was very dry.
I highly recommend this restaurant for their great food and impeccable service. I had the waitress return a hearing aid that I had lost last time I visited there and I was delighted to get it back.
I will definitely become a regular customer!
Lovely staff and absolutely delicious food. It was easy to get a table and we really enjoyed everything. Big recommendation to all!
My family and I enjoyed our lovely meals last night. So fresh and tasty. Deffintely will be returning to try some more! Thank you!
I would say, a decent place to have nice indian cuisines with well presented staff. But I found it little expensive. We were already full after having starters, So can't say anything about the main course food.
A great experience in hospitality and good food. The Flames is a restaurant wanting to help you expand your tastes of Indian street food, and with a broad menu of excellent dishes.
Our first meal at the Flames, not our last.
Thank you Garry for making our night so much fun.

Out of towner's lucky to get the whole place to themselves. Service was very good and food was great and filling.
The food was the most amazing Indian I have ever eaten! Well worth the trip from home to here just for the food!
Great staff and friendly customer service. We had the Beef Potato, Prawn Masala and Saffron Rice - delicious flavours, good sized prawns and soft chunks of beef. We will be back soon!
Came from Woodend to mix it up. Fantastic food and really nice people. Some of the nicest Indian I've had in a long time.
Really lovely food! Love the butter chicken and the Rogen josh. Everything nice and hot and fresh. Very long wait although, even considering we ordered ahead. Prices decent for the serving sizes.
The best food they have is coconut naan, coconut rice and chicken saag. The butter chicken is yum too and the lamb korma. Decent prices and not too bad waiting times.
Really delicious food, freshly made with some lovely flavours that are not your typical canned Indian sauces. I particularly liked the charcoal oven flavours on the Eggplant & Potato dish last week and the spicy/creamy Mango Chicken. Plus a very friendly host! It all makes this place a great stop for dinner on the way home. We'll be back again! Highly recommended.
Very yum, hard to pick a winner, coconut bread is fantastic. One of the best Indian take aways I've had.and I'm a fan!
Really nice food will come back again and recommend everyone to try it. Cant get food like this in Melbourne. Good job guys
