Caught the train from Melbourne for a day trip. Decided to have fish and chips for lunch. Wow! The gummy shark was thick and juicy with the crispiest batter! Chips also crispy. Loved it (:

First and last time I'll be coming here to get fish and chips. Honestly the worse fish and chips ive ever had, dim sims not cooked, chips soggy, potato cakes oily as anything.

If you want GOOD fish and chips look somewhere else because this isn't it.

I don’t know why I keep going back. The last 4 times they have missed things from my order. Bits of fish, potato cakes and the last time the chips.
You need to check your order that it’s all there

A complete rip off! Charge an extra $7 for extra meat in a souvlaki making it $21 instead of $14 each. Have been going to this shop since it opened and have always paid under &50 for 3. The staff argued with us and would not admit to changing their prices. They have a couple of young boys working, one of which thinks puffing his chest up and acting like a tough guy is a good look. In the end they said they wouldn’t be throwing them in the bin so I can only assume they would have been recycled with the next order for. Definitely will not recommend this shop to anyone…$63 for 3 souvlakis pffft stay away from this one!

Was top tier till roughly 6 months ago. This used to be the only fish and chip shop I'd ever go to and talk up to people, their chips were unmatched in quality and consistency but recently 3 times in a row they've given us the same cardboardy average kind of chips you'd get at your low end fish and chip shop. Really sad the quality is no longer predictable. Hopefully they bring back the good chips and seasoning that had us hooked.

Food was of good standard, but I think was slightly over priced for what it was. Could have done with more choice of fish too. Service was exceptional and fast

So I thought that we would give this fish and chip shop a go, what a huge mistake that was, I ordered a hamburger with cheese and onion, chips, dim sims, potato cakes and crab stick, well the burger has the patties, raw onion, a slice of gherkin sauce and mustard no lettuce no tomato, the chips are more like fries than chips (if we wanted Macas then I would have gone to Macas) the dim sims are cheap no name ones, their definitely not Marathon that's for sure there is enough salt on everything to sink a battle ship (I think that is to try and hide the flavour of fish because that's what it all tastes like, greasy oily old fish) so needless to say we won't be going back there again. Not happy Jan

So exspencive and so small the pice of fish was cut in half cooked well the chips were under cooked the meal was average giving it 2 star for what i paid it didn't diliever so disapointing there fish size was far from average givig it 1.5 star my freind gave it a half star

The best fish & Chips in Traralgon by far! Friendliest staff so accomodating amazing fresh food and the quality is sensational. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

Amazing fish and chips. Great portion sizes, super thick flake. Everything was cooked beautifully. Service is friendly

Stuck to dirty floor, a bit smelly dirty n there, worst bit our clothes smelling after leaving, shark was ok, chips not the best, a little greasy, was visiting Traralgon suggestion to try these guys, mistake it was plus they are a little more expensive than others in the area, shark size was small portions

Perfect potato cakes, chips flake is to die for not oily perfect crunch on the outside and soft on the inside.love it highly reccomend!

Best fish and chips in Traralgon and I have tried them all. A bit more pricey compared to others but trust me you won't be disappointed. Crispy batter and the chips are delicious! EDITED to add that we had fish and chips from here again tonight and was very disappointing, the chips are different and nowhere near as good, gummy pieces were tiny and potato cake batter was soggy. Quite pricey which I don't normally mind paying in the past as they were so good.

We ordered crumbed barramundi and both piece’s were raw in the middle, totally uneadible and ended up in the bin… a complete & utter waste on $20! The 2 burgers were also cold so we had to reheat at home. We won’t be bothering coming back.

The best fish and chips in the valley by far. There is a price for this but it is 1000% worth it.

I have not tried any commies or potato cakes, but I'd expect them to be just standard fare.

Excellent fish and chip shop great variety even great salads. Definitely recommend in Traralgon.

I would rather travel out of my way to come here then go anywhere else. Exceptional experience food is always absolutely beautiful will never go anywhere else. Whatever batter they use is fantastic

Had a not too large order on Friday night and got to where I was going some 30 km away and found they had not given me my souvlaki after charging me for it. Guess who in the group sat around hungry while everyone else was eating. I do not recomend this place after trying to ring for 40 minutes and then thry suggest I drive back in to pick it up. No thanks never again. PS: The chips were overcooked.

We have been waiting for a quality FnC shop in Traralgon.
We were really happy to find that this is just that.
Great fish, chips with nice batter, and everything else. Served up hot and tasty with a wedge of lemon.
