Great accommodation that's very clean and well thought out. The host is very responsive and has taken a lot of thought and time in compiling all the relevant information to make sure you have a smooth stay.
The views from the house are gorgeous too. There's a lovely walk into the rainforest and the waterfall that's off the property too.
Would recommend staying here for a peaceful getaway

Eyrie, definition; “a high or inaccessible place from which someone can observe what is below them. ”

It’s more than that. It’s ‘Utopia. ’

Having lived on the Surf Coast for 63 years, I have come to know the Otway Ranges well.
Or so I thought.
The Eyrie was an eye opening, breathtaking experience.
It has it all.
Spectacular views, mountain forest walks on the property, waterfalls and the most superb residence.
Warming log fire place, well equiped kitchen, cosy bedrooms with clean linen, steaming hot water in the shower, a large deck with views to die for.

And all this is presented immaculately, with so much thought
Nothing is missing. Unless you forget to bring the wine. We didn’t.
A credit to Andrew and Kathy.

“I’ll be Back. ”

Looking for a private villa nested on the mountain top with panoramic view overlooking Apollo Bay? Want the best retreat experience in Great Ocean Road? This is it. My stay at The Eyrie was in itself an amazing experience. Property is beautiful and Andy is a great host. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!:)

4 sisterin laws spent 6 wonderful days at the Eyrie. Our host Andy couldnt have been more welcoming and friendly. The property is lovely and the fern gully walk was steep but worth the effort. We ate peaches from the fruit tree by the front door whilst enjoying magnificent panoramic views from the verandah. This is a Top Spot. Thanks Andy!
