1. They never sent any cleaning product to me. Thats a lie. I was told by the staff to try cleaning it with autosol.
2. No such splash pattern was 'established' and no substance was sprayed on the taps. Dust was on the taps. The pattern could equally be indicative of the dust.
3. As for the offer to replace. What exactly are they replacing when the rust was virtually over the entire product? How exactly would I pull the tap apart to replace items without causing possible damage? I did mention they could arrange the plumber to come and sort the tap out with parts but they didn't respond to that.
So Stephen how do I prove nothing was sprayed? I guess you can just say what you want and refuse to rectify as you have my money now.
Would have been happy to investigate the problem and have the real issue identified and let the chips fall where they may. I was just as shocked as you were the taps were rusty after paying over $2500 for 2 taps.

Purchased 2 very expensive taps and installed in a renovation project. Taps never used. Taps rusted. Refused replacement citing this was not a manufacturing fault and accused us of spraying liquid on them that made them rust. Taps only has dust on them.

We had extensive dealings with the team at English Tapware during our house renovation and in all cases they were delightful and supportive in all aspects. We would work with them again should the need arise

Under no circumstances should you consider using this company. My experience has been extremely misleading. I ordered a Perrin & Rowe tap in gold back in October last year. My Kitchen and Bathware supplier and I called English Tapware before we placed the order and were advised 18 weeks for the lead time. Whilst this was cutting a very thin line for me, I decided to accept and placed the order, 18 weeks should have been 4 February 2023. Not only have I still not received my goods, but now the company is completely backtracking and refusing to accept the previous representations they made. I am now being told "We never said 18 weeks, it's 6 months lead time. " If I had known it was a 6 month wait, I would never have purchased from this dishonest mob. Mind you, their own website has Perrin & Rowe lead time at 16 weeks. As far as I'm concerned, their conduct has been nothing short of disgraceful and dishonest.
Do yourself a favour and purchase elsewhere!

The Perrin & Crowe bathroom items look great but are very expensive and not very functional, especially the toilet. Firstly, the wooden seat was way too big and became a bit warped and needed replacing with a plastic one at my expense. Thank goodness the plastic one was a bit smaller and far more comfortable for a 76kg, 178cm male. Secondly, it often takes 2 to 3 full flushes and lots of water to get rid of everything, wasting lots of water. Love the big shower rose and basin. Purchased September, 2019.

We fell in love with Perrin and Rowe products when searching online and in store for bathroomware that had something unique about its design as well as quality of manufacture. We were also looking for bathroom fittings that would suit an older style home, and Perrin and Rowe became an obvious choice.

Living in WA, it was difficult to find Perrin and Rowe products so contacted the English Tapware Company in Melbourne.

We asked many questions, particularly as we couldn’t view most products in Perth. They were generous in their responses. They readily emailed images, provided measurements, discussed porcelain colour, posted us samples of different tapware finishes and notably sent a porcelain sample to Sydney so we could colour match a bath, all so we could make informed choices for our bathroom renovation. Given all their assistance, we made our bathroomware choices with confidence.

We are very grateful to Emily and the English Tapware Company, Melbourne for their product knowledge, patience and assistance.

Under no circumstances should you buy from this company. My mother installed a Perrin and Rowe system and the pot filler has been dripping and the spray gun not working for almost 12 months without resolution despite plumbers looking at it at our own expense! The manager Stephan Marshall does not answer his mobile, the shop attendants do not pass on communications, the assigned case manager has not driven an outcome and there is no sign of resolution. Appalling. Not to mention 12 months of water wastage! If you are expecting any after sales service from this company I wish you the best. Next step is consumer affairs.

Exquisite Products and Great Service
We had an issue with one of the accessory products well over a year after purchasing a beautiful butler sink and tap. We contacted The English Tapware Company (Emily) who assisted us with securing a replacement at no cost. We ended up making another purchase while we were at the showroom.

STAY CLEAR! Pre sale services is great - that's were it stops. Completely disappointing! Both products and service post purchase. Broken towel rail after 1 year since installation. Rose head leaks, join for external shower pipe broken and leak near tap join. 5 attempts via email or phone for resolution where I was ignored or directed to your plumber who has visited twice already. After over three months of two and froing with the company it Consumer Affairs. Stay clear.

Very disappointed.purchased Kitchen taps several years ago. The experience was good. Nice selection. Problem I have had is that there seems to be no after sales service? After one of the taps developed a major drip, I found that the Melbourne store was closed due to covid and not taking calls. A number for a plumber was provided on the website however the plumber was not taking or returning calls. Next option was Sydney store. Here it seems they were recording messages and not bothering to follow up? If the washers to the tap were standard it would not be an issue.easily fixed.but instead they are specific cartridges that are not easily sourced? English Tapware Company.you need to lift your game with after care. Would never have bought from you if I knew your aftercare was so poor.ps.should have given 0 stars but this was not an option

All staff are very friendly and l love all there tapware door handles and the toilets. All high end no chinese rubbish here.
