The East Pantry

I came in today for breakfast and had the salmon egg Benedict also added bacon on the side and it was delicious. Food was superb and the customer service was fantastic. See you guys next weekend:)

I don't get why everyone carries on about this place. It's mediocre at best. The food is just okay, and either overcooked, sloppy or tasteless for the most part. 2 stars because the staff are friendly, but the food needs some love!

I was recommended the East Pantry from a friend of mine who said to me a year ago that the food, coffee and atmosphere were amazing, so I booked a lunch date for my wife and I to go. My friend was right about the atmosphere, the place was packed and it did have a slightly relaxed feel when we came in.but that's where the positives all stopped. From being seated at a dirty table, to being given a menu covered in either chocolate sauce, or burnt coffee beans or God knows what else, we still persisted on and ordered the Pulled Pork Burger and Souther Chicken Burger. After placing the order, they came out to our table within 3 minutes max. (Food takes longer at maccas). The chips were the only redeemable thing on our plate. Whilst the burgers looked good, the pulled pork was cold and just dripping in the most flavourless and bland aoili dressing which dripped all down the side of the burger. There was no seasoning on any of it and it tasted like a roll you'd make with a coles roast chicken. My wife's southern chicken burger had a melted piece of cheese over it, but that cheese seemed to be the only cooked thing in the burger. The Chicken was still COLD! Not to mention it wasn't 'crispy' either. The food was such a disappointment and will not be stepping foot in this cafe again.

Nice food and a lovely coffee. The staff were very friendly very friendly and would recommend this cafe.

Came here for brunch to celebrate a birthday with 7 other people. 3 of the meals did not come out hot so we asked for a replacement. They were very accomodating and apologised.

The way the manager handled the situation deserves a special mention, he also didn't make us pay for the meals which is very kind.

As for the other meals as well as the replacement ones, they were great. The coffee is the nicest, and the menu has a wide variety of options.

It's ok to make mistakes, and the manager handled it really well. I'll be back to eat here

I cannot express how welcomed me and my family felt when we arrived for my dads birthday brunch. The staff are fantastic, kid friendly and delicious food and coffee. Definitely a great place in the western suburbs. Worth my drive & will be returning! =]

Well what can we say. WOW! We were a group of 12 with no booking on a very busy Saturday evening and the staff quickly arranged tables to cater for us all. Food was SPOT ON! The service was AMAZING! Thank you for such a great first time experience. Compliments to the chef ‍‍. We highly recommend The East Pantry for any occasion & we will definitely be back very soon. Thanks again

Food was amazing every time but cocktails sometimes very nice and sometimes wasn’t nice look like had deferent barista. But will go back often for sure because I love the food here.
