The Dream - Korean Bistro reviews
46A small corner Korean restaurant which you can miss out easily if you don’t pay attention by walking pass! We had a total of three mains and one entree between two of us! It’s so delicious. Unfortunately they don’t provide side dishes, you have to pay extra! Other than this, we are very happy with our experience! I enjoyed the fried chicken. Will come back and try out other dishes.
I used to love eating here.unfortunately quality of dishes has gone down hill.a real shame.pork stew dishes no longer come with rice or side dishes.not even kimchi.fried chicken.no pickled radish.yes i understand that due to covid produce etc prices have
increased.i noticed you havnt really increased your prices but have instead decided to cut back on sides and condements.with korean food it can be overly sweet or on the bland side.u need the salty/sour side dishes to offset this.without them ur dishes dont work.
Very bad service of that old lady! First time eat at Korean restaurant no side dish at all and the soup doesn’t come with rice, need to order extra. The beef soup is quite expensive but very strong MSG taste. Feels like the lady not very welcome customers, because customer give them job to do? !
There is a great range of noodle dishes, soup, rice dishes, sizzling dishes, and entrees to experience a little taste of Korea. Service is friendly and welcoming to families. The kids were given plastic tableware and high chairs are also available. It is pram friendly during quieter times and we suggest avoiding peak times for the best experience. We opted for a couple dishes to share.
Beef Bulgogi on Rice
Fried Chicken Ribs (With Sweet Spicy Sauce on the side)
Korean Pancake mixed with Vegetables
Every dish we ordered was delicious! The Bulgogi sauce was the kid’s favourite and I loved the Seafood Pancake! We highly recommend The Dream for a welcoming and cosy place for Korean food.
Great Korean food, but limited menu, especially veg dishes. Definitely try the kimchi rice and the gochujang.
Best Korean this side of town, highly recommend eating at their cozy restaurant or amazing take away. Food is always delicious
I love this restaurant so much omg.
The food the service
There are so many positive things I can say about this restaurant and the food, especially the food! All I have to say is, If you have the chance of eating here, I HIGHLY recommend it.
Great food, very reasonably priced.genuine service.call ahead before you go.these guys get very busy
Like the jjajang noodle, would be better if there was more pork, as my bowl had barely. The baby octopus rice was not bad.
Well priced items at around $17 a dish. Seafood pancake was crispy and had good notes of fried onion. Pork and squid sizzling plate had a good kick of spice, we added cheese on top which was a good decision. Japchae was also flavoursome. Service was also attentive and quick. Would recommend for couples or groups of 4.
Been coming here for over a year, this place never disappoints! ️ Lovely staff and amazing food!
Great authentic Korean place to eat. Especially when food is cooked by the older man. Food is a bit of a hit & miss if cooked by the lady or the younger male. I particularly really like the crispy chicken with sweet chilli saw, or the spicy stir fried chicken with added cheese.
This was a great and peaceful restaurant and the food was also very delicious but I think the food took a bit long to make, overall the restaurant was great.
Everything is on average. The lady boss wasn’t very polite towards me and my family when we was ordering.
First time here, small place tuck round the corner in springvale. Service was good food was quick and so tasty.definitely come back.
Food was delicious and affordable. The service was great. The only weakness is the place is small and you might have to wait.
Lovely Korean Restaurant in Springvale. The service was exceptional, you will have your own personal staff member to cook in front of you and they are happy to provide more kimchi if required. A great restaurant for Kimchi lovers.
This Korean restaurant is cosy and inviting, the small dinning area makes it less noisy and a lovely place for any catchup. The food are authentic and so yummy. I will definitely come back to try out other dishes.
Spicy seafood noodles.so fishy and the smell is way too repulsive to swallow.came here by its impressive ratings and ended up disappointed.
This place may be small but the food they offer here give off a nostalgic Home style Mum/Dad cooking vibe. Food is amazing, will be back again!
