The Dingley Hotel reviews
92We had our Christmas breakup lunch at the Dingley Hotel and we were super happy! Service with a smile, cocktails were hitting the spot, the meals were fresh and delicious and the space had a really nice relaxed, happy vibe!
What was once a family friendly place to have a Quilty meal has now become ridiculously pricey and definitely not a local place to eat. $50 for a steak and chips is bizarre for a pub meal …. Obviously catering for the corporate dollar.
Only came here for a dinner not accommodation.
Ordered 2 rib eyes and they may be the worst steaks we've had all year. $59 a pop. The steaks served weren't rib eyes. T-bones. Low quality and cooked poorly. Would not recommend. Maybe we came on a bad night but I won't be coming back. Even the hungry 4yr old could not stomach the mac n cheese.
Nice venue. Energetic and vibrant energy across the venue. Kitchen is severely SEVERELY slacking. A pity
The restaurant at dingley The Dingley international used to be fabulous, we came with friends often. But last week we decided to revisit, very disappointed with the range in the menu. My meal was oily too much chilli my partner's chicken Caesar salad was covered all over with too much parmesan cheese. Couldn't taste anything other than cheese. Won't go back here again.
Only had lunch at the Bistrol. Very nice ambience. Friendly staff.
Food quality was "so so". Temperture of the wings, fish & chips was warm.
A not impressed: (
Room, linen and bathroom were all spotless. Bed was comfy. Control of the room temperature was effective. Easy to connect my Netflix to the TV. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Not fancy fancy but absolutely all I needed for the night. I felt it was great value for money. Would happily recommend and stay again.
Great hotel to stay for a business trip. Has the bistro and bottle shop on the grounds. Big clean rooms and the staff were all friendly and helpful. If you need a transfer please call Sammy who the hotel recommended. He made the trip to and from the airport seamless and made me feel like a VIP Great guy as well
I had a wonderful stay, neat, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, adjustable heating/air-conditioning, great hot water. Breakfast was worth the money and Chris (I think that’s his name) who took my confusing order and served me made a great cappuccino and was so lovely. I will most definitely be back for my next work trip here again.
We had a great experience. Would highly recommend the hotel. All staff were very welcoming/great specially housekeeping. Cant wait for our next visit.
Place looks lovely but staff aren't attentive and food wasn't great either. Won't be coming back
My wife and I called in for an evening meal as we couldn't be bothered to cook and were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and tasty, the only problem was its too easy to have too many beers at the same time. Or is that just my problem lol
We stay at Dingley often and have done for about 5 years now. We have always found it a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and helpful.rooms are clean and the beds are the BEST. We travel often with a boat which is well secured at the Motel. The attached Hotel is wonderful for dinner and a night out without having to leave the premises.
We just had a surprise birthday party in the forum room on the 26th November and I can’t thank you enough to Sheena and her group. They did such an amazing job with everything. The set up and food were outstanding. Thank you again for everything and making or night so special. The forum room is definitely a hidden gem and highly recommended.
We had my sister birthday dinner
and instead of the food all coming out together we all had to wait separately and they had forgotten 4 of our meals! And came out and just asked what we ordered, no apology at all, multiple meals were cold and refused to do nothing about!
would not recommend coming here at all
Room clean and receptionist was great, could do with some more lighting in the rear carpark
Our stay was Exceptional, the Service, to the room, to the resturant,
Room was modern, comfortable & cleanliness was exceptional.
The restaurant, again the service & Food was great.
We will be back
Pretty decent meals in a modern setting, staff offer quick service and are quite friendly as well. Stop in for a meal if passing by, otherwise it's a far distance from anything worth seeing.
Our charity Creating the Magic had a function at the Dingley Int Hotel on Sunday 24/7, what an amazing event the venue looked amazing, the staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent, could not fault the whole experience. We will definitely be booking there again for next years day. Thanks to all the staff involved.
Stopped by here for a quick bite, was really impressed with the wood fire pizza, it was decent. Would eat again.
We were invited to a birthday party at The hotel’s, The Grange. The food, service and venue were perfect. We also stayed the night, at the Dingley’s accommodation in a king room, as we lived over an hour way. The amenities, room and service at reception were impeccable. We also had breakfast at Links, also on the premises. Again, food and service (especially the coffee) were excellent. Highly recommend this venue, for just about anything!
