I love this bar. I love the owner and his family and I love the atmosphere since the refurb. Love being able to go there and watch the basketball or the footy with my mates and being in such a nice, happy atmosphere. Can't wait for the reopen.

Super Sports Bar. Plenty of seating and viewing angles/screens. Outdoor balcony is roomy. Staff is also helpful friendly. Went there for Tyson II Fury on Sunday. Would recommend as a local watering hole.

Great environment and concept, but just not quite enough drink or food choices for me to hang around given I'm on a keto diet at the moment.

I've been coming here for the Melbourne DDAL events on Wednesday night's for a few weeks now, the venue and staff have been amazing.

I highly recommend the popcorn chicken, I've had it twice and it's delicious.

Great place with great vibes, very accommodating staff and lots of fun events like Trivia and DnD.

Great food, atmosphere, staff and seating. I couldn't fault a single thing, until I saw a can of VB cost $7.50.perfect apart from that!

Ordered a Vegan Chicken Burger & Vegan Poutine fries, brought non-vegan fries with Bacon. I brought it back and it took ages to get service, they re-made but never apologised for serving meat to a non-meat eater. Terrible service, average food

Chip’s Loft delivered and delivered in style. Everything was amazing. I took on all of the wedding celebration preparations so I was one stressed puppy when it came to the day. But the staff took care of everything. Nothing was left to chance, the beer was amazing, the wine connoisseurs were happy and the food was amazing. There was nothing left over, but smiles and photos of a perfect night. Chip’s Loft hits the mark: not too modern or chic, but not too grungy, just right. A place everyone enjoyed. Thanks to the team at Chip’s Loft, my wife and I will be down real soon!

Friendly staff!
I went to this bar to watch footy on Friday night. The location is perfect, variety of drinks and food. Staff were super nice and helpful. I enjoyed being there. Will go back definitely.

Absolutely amazing venue overall. The staff are so lovely, the food was amazing and the portions are large and filling!
The renovations are gorgeous too and the place feels more spacious but somehow more close and comfortable. There’s an amazing selection of alcohol behind the bar and a great menu that caters to vegans too.
Oh and Sunday afternoon trivia is so much fun! I definitely can’t recommend this place enough.

Mufaro was a great bartender. We had a great time and will return to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and libations many more times.

Really cool spot, love the new reno and the sports bar vibe. As a smoke i personally think an upstairs smokers would have been a great addition to this establishment, which would tie in nicely to the "classic sports bar. "

After hearing about this place recently, made my way across town with some friends to find that it was closed, even though it says open hours are from 12pm on a Saturday. After coming back a few times over the next couple of hours with no luck, eventually the doors were open but we were told that there was a private function on and that we had to leave. Interesting way to run a business. Will be giving it a miss next time.

Really terrible experience here last night when out with a group of friends for drinks and food. We all ordered seportately one after another at the bar and each of my friends received their orders and had their plates cleaned away with no sign of the order I placed for me and my girlfriend. We asked twice if our order had been forgotten to just be told be patient and that it’s on its way, with no attempt to talk to the kitchen (it’s open plan we could see everything). Finally after watching many more meals leave the kitchen we asked a third time, the waitress was clearly getting bored of our questions which was making us uncomfortable and she finally decided to check with the kitchen. By this point the waitress was getting angry storming back into the kitchen going through all the order tickets in plain sight and it was clear our order had been lost. Instead of being honest we were again told to be patient it is on its way. By this point we were feeling frustrated that she wouldn’t just be honest, mistakes happen. I later then received my burger without my fries, and my girlfriend was still waiting for her food by the time I finished mine. We went up to the bar to complain and ask for a refund where we were met with the same extremely rude and hostile waitress who wasn’t apologetic and continued to lie about not forgetting our order. My girlfriends food arrived during this heated conversation and was a hot dog, not the burger we originally ordered. She was told in a raised voice to go back to her table and eat her food by the waitress who still refused to admit that the order was wrong. The whole situation was extremely frustrating and it was upsetting to be treated in such a way. All we were offered was a refund on the hot dog, which we didn’t even order. The food that did arrive for our friends was delicious, it’s a shame we do not feel welcome enough to come back after being treated in such a way. If you mess up somebody’s order just be honest, compensate and keep things light and friendly.

Great little bar that had a nice selection of craft beers at reasonable happy hour prices. They played 90s Aussie pub rock while I saw there which was a lot of fun. Not too crowded on Friday afternoon. Will go back.

Fantastic venue with plenty of fun events on throughout the week! Food is excellent I've never been disappointed

Small and cozy atmosphere in the heart of Footscray. The staff were super chilled and the food was alright. The location was fairly close to the city and is easy accessible through piblic transport. The only downfact is that the parking in the property was not safe and limited space for parking.

Nice bar, hidden away on the high street. Good food, though the halloumi burger has never been as nice as the first time I had it in here which is a shame! Onion rings are delicious, and the popcorn chicken is soo tasty.
