I visited this clinic for the first time today and saw Dr Stephanie Dermarchi. She was so warm and non judgemental (which I’ve found to be rare in a GP) and she really took her time to help. I was so relieved by the whole experience, as I’d been so anxious about going. Would definitely recommend this clinic and specifically Dr Stephanie.

This facility is warm and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and I would highly recommend them for their approach and welcome to a new patient. The cafe was a bonus and also having a pharmacy and a car park available made my experience very productive. Thank you.

The CottageMedical Centre provides an excellent range of care options. We have been attending there for many years and can't fault their service and professionalism.

Even though I had to wait a bit the doctor apologised. I then had to have an ECG which was done straight away at the Cottage. The staff on the front desk were friendly as usual. Thanks for the great service.

The first 2 times I've been to The Cottage I've been quite happy with the service provided, the time my appointments took and the friendliness of the staff.
However for my most recent visit I wasn't able to see either of the same doctores, so I saw Dr. Kar.
I understand Doctors have more in their jobs than just the appointments they have booked, so I figured he must have been busy when he came out 20 minutes late.
It wasn't long into my appointment that I realised that it was not business that delayed Dr. Kar, but the pace at which he works. The appointment took 40 minutes when it should have taken no more than 15 minutes at the absolute most. Due not only to Dr. Kar being very unhurried in his work, but also the tangent he went on about religion.
After being told I should not get my girlfriend pregnant while on the medication I was prescribed, I made a comment that there would be no worries with that, which prompted Dr. Kar to ask why, to which I said I was Christian, so I'm abstainent.
After seeing Dr. Kars reaction I asked him if he was religious, this was my mistake. After telling me some of the terrible things that Christians and Catholics had done in the past, of which no Christian I know would ever condone, he went on a tangent about a visit from a sprititual being he bad while he was in medical school. He then continued to talk about some more terrible things people have done in the name of Christian faith and God throughout history, then proceeded to tell me all faiths are the same.

If I had kept asking questions about his views this would have been a fair enough, if not unprofessional line of conversation, but all I asked was "Are you religious? "

If you want an efficient male doctor I would recommend Dr. Savage and Dr. Cox. If not, Dr. Kar would will give you a similar service, just at a slower rate.

Friendly, efficient reception staff, about 5 minutes wait, Doctor greeted me in reception, usual thorough consultation, explained procedure, answered my questions, will contact me re results in about 2 weeks, suggested further check in 6 months.

The Cottage Pharmacy staff are highly knowledgeable, respectful and attentive. Nothing ever seems too much trouble for them. I love their range of giftware, skincare and specialty products that are always displayed so beautifully. Thank you all for providing great advice and delivering fabulous customer service!

Taken my 3 month old daughter to Cottage medical centre grovedale. 30 minute wait, pop up to counter to check if I'm next in line to find 2 people still ahead of me. Now at 45 mins past appointment time without any hope of being seen soon. Good doctors but very poor experience with bub so young.

A perfect local Medical Centre. I've always found the staff to be lovely. And Dr Cox & Dr Rooha are phenomenal physicians.

He is an exceptional GP, providing an excellent level of care and treatment! After having seen a few different GP's in the past, I know just how average the experience can be. He has a great and honest personality that really sits well with me, especially through the medical rollercoaster I've been through!
I'm not sure how the practice is structured but that guy needs a promotion!

Many good doctors & specialists at The Cottage. Being a patient there for many years, I've only encountered one or two doctors that I haven't been happy with, though they were ones I had to see because my regular doctor wasn't available at the time I needed, so they didn't know my medical history. The regular doctor/specialists I see seem to have my best interests at heart and provide genuine service.
