The Coach House, Port Fairy Accommodation

Right from the word go our experience was faultless. Lyn’s gorgeous cottage had more than everything we needed with many personal touches. Communication was terrific too. We particularly loved the softest of towels and very comfortable bed.

The Coach House provided everything you could possibly need. Lots of character and charm. Super close to everything which is excellent. I recommend some ear plugs if you don't want the birds waking you up early but it's a nice natural alarm to make sure you can seize the day! Will definitely return. Also, Lyn was really helpful and accommodating.

Beautiful little cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Excellent location being a short walk to the shops, restaurants and cafe's and across from the Moyne river. An easy walk to East Beach and a terrific walking track to Griffiths's Island and the lighthouse.
The kitchen has plenty of utensils and crockery, a dishwasher with complementary dish-washing tablets & cleaning products, the bedroom is very comfortable and the bathroom has a large shower with great water pressure in addition to a bath.
Access and communication was effortless and the WiFi strong.
Overall a beautiful cottage to set off a lovely destination.

A great house in a great location. This is one of our favourite places to stay in Port Fairy. A very comfortable bed and spacious bedroom, lovely modern ensuite with separate bath; a fully enclosed yard for the doggy; wifi; and close to everything - the village, East Beach, the Moyne and jetty. The hostess is also wonderfully accommodating and a great communicator. At this stage, the Coach House is best suited for short visits or long weekends as there is limited free shelf space in the kitchen, no shelves/drawers in the bedroom and a small fridge, but as it has a new owner, this may change down the track to accommodate longer visits (we stayed 2 weeks!). A wonderful venue.

Wow. What a beautiful place to stay. The Coach House exceeded our expectations. Cosy, comfy, impeccably clean and we had everything we needed.

Best night's sleep in ages. Had the opportunity to stay at the Coach House again. There's something about the ambience of this perfect little cottage which makes me relax and enjoy a weekend away. So comfortable - especially the bed. Everything you could possibly need has been provided. Walking distance to great cafes and shops. Can't wait till my next visit.

We have just returned from a wonderful 4 days in Port Fairy to attend the Spring Music Festival, but also really enjoyed revisiting The Coach House, the perfect place to stay in town. It is a delightful cosy house for two, beautifully furnished and with everything you need for cooking your own meals in the well laid out kitchen plus a barbecue if you prefer.

The lounge has comfy furniture with books to read in front of the fire and the upstairs bedroom with a separate bathroom is extremely comfortable with high quality bedding and towels. It is lovely to wake to the sound of the birds singing in the gumtrees outside the window.

The cottage is in walking distance of all the terrific cafes and restaurants plus interesting shops and you just have to cross the road to explore the port which is a major historic feature of the town.

We have stayed here on many occasions and hope to return in the future.

The Coach House is like coming home, only better. It's warm and cosy, beautifully furnished with lovely artwork and quirky knitnacs. For us, it's close proximity to the shops and eateries is another plus. Fabulous.

Very cute, perfect for a weekend get-away. The mattress was a little lumpy and there’s no wifi. If they can make those updates it will be 5 stars from me

Had the chance to stay in this great little cottage recently - to take advantage of the wonderful Port Fairy Golf Course. Great location. Extremely comfortable - slept like a log. The free Wifi was a bonus.

Really enjoyed our stay in Rae's immaculately maintained and cosy town house in the heart of Port Fairy. Couldn't have wished for more. Highly recommended.

The Coach House is an amazing place for couples in Port Fairy. High quality furnishings, spotlessly clean, with little extras for luxury. In an ideal position a minute from the river, 3 mins stroll to the sea or main street in town. Rae, the owner, was very helpfull and knowledgeable about local restaurants and amenities. It's a gem of a place.

Blissfully quiet, private space. The Coach House has old world charm, with all modern conveniences hidden behind period facades. Easy walks to the Eastern Beach, the shear-water sanctuary, the Wharf and the shops. We Always look forward to returning.

This cosy cottage was the ideal base for our special weekend in Port Fairy. The Coach House is tastefully decorated and very comfortable and in a great location to enjoy this historic town, port and foreshore.
Plus it was great to be able to bring our dog Maggie to enjoy our walks.
