The Cheesecake Shop Werribee

My friend sent me a cake thru door dash as a gift and we are wondering why the cake smell spoiled and the taste different.pleased next time don’t give your old stock cake good thing my visitors didn’t eat your cake or else it’s my fault if they have diarrhoea.

Ordered a customised cake for my son’s birthday and it looked nothing like we asked for. It was an absolute fail. I mean they charged us $125 for something that was an absolute fail. Tasted bad looked crappy. I was so disheartened when I saw it. That’s not what I wanted to give my little one for his special day. Do yourself a favour and even if you had to spend little bit extra to get a customised or any cake for that matter do it. I will never be entering this shop for anything I swear.

Has Vegan, Vegetarian, Halal, Gluten Free options for cheese cakes

Update: had an unpleasant experience today. Ordered a black forest torte and it was frozen inside.

Seems to be common from other reviews.
People who ate it is getting tumny upset. Seems like cake is old and is starting to grow mould. Tastes different

The young lady at the counter was helpful and kind. Blackforest eggless cake was not up to the standard. When I eat, we can feel the ice (frozen water) in the cream which diminishes the whole taste of the cake. Usually I don't give less than 5 star for reviews.
Will probably not go again. Sorry for the feedback.

They don't provide polythene or paper bag to carry cake.always they say we are ran out of bag.very poor service.

This was my favourite cake shop for years but looks like a new owner has take mover and my experience lately to order a cake was really difficult. No more cake designs we can choose apart from what’s available in website (previous had a tons of cake designs) and the staff I was talking too was kind of rude with the sense like take it or leave it.

Above all my custom cake was oddly design and not the same I have asked, thanks for at least making the cake on time for the celebration.

Owner can look into this and bring back the quality in this shop.

I wish I could give zero stars. One of the worst store ever visited along with zero customer service. I have ordered a valentine box and paid two days in advance. At the time of collection they delivered totally different box with different items in it and even the packaging was totally different. Even the staff had no answer for my question. After waiting few minutes the manager arrived and instead of apologising, he was carrying so much of attitude and replied that’s what we have no matter whatever you saw online and ordered. As the one you ordered is out of stock at the moment!
What a joke! Guys pls avoid this store or else please double check 50 times before ordering.

Totally dislike.

I booked a pavlova 9 days early for a party we had on. I arrived at Werribee Watton Street fri 9th Dec to pick it up and after waiitng in the store for over 20 mns for anyone to serve, the 2 very young girls disapeared out back again and arrived with my Pavlova another 15 mins later and 10 other people waiting behind me. The young girls said they had made it the week before but it went off so they had to do it again. OMG this is discustiong and the service was appalling. This is my 3rd bad experience with this store. The girls employed are far too young to even understand customer service etique.

Horrible cake I have ever had, the manager treats customers like garbage, animal and the girl over there who is the decorator acts as a manager as per her convenience thinking customers are fool. They sell old cakes packed in dirty old boxes. Do not go to this shop. Disgusting behaviour. Change the manager/ owner. Worst manager in any cheese cake shop.

I bought a cake yesterday to celebrate my Dad’s birthday. I took the cake and found out that it had mould all across and that the box said the best before 01/12/2022 (boughten on 06/12/2022). Not only they didn’t check the food item before selling it but also didn’t throw out a food product that was well past the best before date. Will call council, this is ridiculous. Should they dealing food throw expired food products out and check whether the food is up to the standards or not. IT HAD MOULD

OMG terrible! I used to go & buy a cheesecake once a month, but l now, they look horrible, half the size in height & have gone up in price. So now they don't look good, cut the size in half & you have to pay more! For what? You have lost me as a customer & I'm sure you are losing alot of customers!

Purchased a nutalla cake and received a very poor chocolate cake - poor young girls had to try and assist of course manager wasn’t there

Cakes are below average in taste and design/decoration could be WAY better. Staff are rude, judgemental, unhelpful, should have hired someone else. Just awful

Once in a while the owner is working and makes a delicious pav,
BUT every other time I go it's disappointing, cake is meant to make people happy and the way mine turn up is horrid.
Favourite company since I was a kid but that's changing sorry.
I am aware this is a black Forrest I thought I would try and different favourite.

I ordered a custom cake and it looks nothing like the photo, I’m really upset and disappointed with it. It’s a completely different shade to what I asked for as well. Don’t recommend going here for custom cakes

I tried to call this shop today 15/5/22 but the call kept ringing and cutting out. I called nearly 6 times over the space of an hour and no one answered the call! Well too bad, it's their loss as I just spent $650 at another cake shop! Definitely wouldn't be calling this shop in the future for any of my cake orders, that's for sure.

I love this place! They were very accommodating and prepared exactly what we wanted. Always great customer service. Aside from the figurine and flowers this is the zebra cake and it was delicious! Fresh light and quality! Would recommend!

Cheesecake shop had always been my favourite when it comes to taste. But my recent experience was really disheartening. I had booked a made to order cake for my son’s first birthday post discussing every minute details with the team and was assured the exact same with an expense of 230 AUD. What I got instead was a very basic looking cake with half the decor missing as well as the ingredients promised in the layerings. I have been unable to justify the price at all.really disappointed

I ordered a cake online for my sons birthday as I live interstate, flew to Melbourne went to pick up the cake as planned and they could not find the cake. The ladies were absolutely lovely, the looked at my confirmation and went back inside the kitchen, after a short wait my cake was ready. They gave me a bag to carry it in as my hands were full and another piece of cake out of the fridge for the hiccup in the order. I couldn’t ask for better service and the cake (drip cake) was to die for. The reason it’s 4 instead of 5 stars was the hiccup with the online order I couldn’t fault the service or product. Well done Cheesecake Shop Werribee.

We got disappointed by the quality of the cake! Cake was almost in spoiled state. It was an embarrassment for our family as guests threw their piece of cake in bin. Usually cheese cakes are our favourites and always use to be delicious. Next time I’m not going to Werribee cheese shop.
