Terrible waste of money

I was really happy with the costumer service experience and how I was able to personalise my cake on the spot. The whole purchasing experience was awesome.

Unfortunately the cookies and cream cake for my gf birthday was not tasting good at all. Can't put my finger one it but at least we didn't get sick at all. 3/4 of the cake unfortunately went to waste.

It is unfortunate because all the other cakes I tried in the past were tasty.

Omgosh what can i say everyone loved the cake looked stunning, thank you so much Baker's at Moonee ponds my daughter loved her cake as did all our guests, The only thing was we couldn't taste the strawberry, but that was minor to all the great work you guys did to give my daughter her dream cake thank you again so so much.

Staff are fantastic and helpful the cake I had was delicious.
I am addicted to the black Forest cake and I think this store was the best one I purchased. I have tried different stores but this was the best by far totally worth 5 stars. Also was able to accommodate my vegan friend and answer any of her questions easily as the counter staff member was very knowledgeable.

One of the best custom cake service in Melbourne.we live in Eastern suburb but chose them over many places as they were very professional, quick and the cake was delicious. Recommend them highly.

THE WORST CHEESECAKE SHOP IN MELBOURNE.

Management are extremely rude, unprofessional, unreasonable and unapproachable. We bought a few different cakes for a function at work and both were inedible. When we returned the cakes, management refused to accept that there was anything wrong with them and would neither provide a refund nor replacement.

To the management: If you are reading this, you should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of hard-working customers and ripping them off.

To all prospective customers: Please think twice before you buy anything from this shop and also be aware that many of their reviews are fake and have been posted by their staff, friends and family members overseas.

UPDATE. No, I have not got the wrong Cheesecake shop. Your shop is located on PascoeVale road, Moonee Ponds. There is no need to contact you for assistance, as you already refused to provide us with any assistance when we brought the cakes back to your store, which was unacceptable.

It's also very interesting to see that ever since I left my review, numerous FAKE Reviews have been posted by your friends and family members OVERSEAS. Hopefully, customers will be able to see that many of your so-called positive reviews, are in fact FAKE.

Strawberry Torte, not enough cream in my opinion, Quad choc baked cheesecake, choc overload, dissapointed

BEWARE!

I purchased a Belgian Double Chocolate Mud Cake for my wife's Birthday which tasted disgusting and left us all feeling sick. When we inspected the inside of the Cake, we discovered it was stale which explained the horrible taste and the reason why we all fell ill.

When I tried to take the cake back the following day, the Owner became very verbally abusive towards me and insisted that there was nothing wrong with the product, despite the fact that anyone could clearly see it was stale inside.

Suffice to say, no refund or replacement was offered and I will never be going back to the Moonee Ponds store again. I would also strongly encourage others to steer clear of this shady place that sells sub-standard, stale cakes.

though my cake was just their everyday torte for 16 people but with a few modifications, I'm so glad they were willing to modify it a bit for my son's 1st birthday ️
Avondale heights were too busy to help me (though I empathise with them too), so I'm so grateful for Moonee Ponds cheesecake shop for helping me out

My wife popped in to get a cheese cake for an engagement. The staff decorated a stock velvet cake with a congrats message to suit. Great service.

I ordered the Father’s Day Box & was very excited when I picked it up, however my family was so disappointed upon tasting. The doughnuts were so dry and tasteless they were terrible, had obviously been made days before.
The other items were ok but considering the doughnuts were the main part of the box it was very disappointing.

There is a simple reason why The Cheesecake Shop, Moonee Ponds is so famous - Because of its delicious cakes.

Suggest getting a quarter strawberry torte from here, sitting in the iconic Queens Park across the place and enjoying the delicacy in a beautiful surrounding, its a surreal experience:)

Absolutely terrible. Had the pavlova and the base was hard as a rock. I’ve never seen anything like it. Literally it was like chewing into a brick. Will never return. Good riddance.
