The Cheesecake Shop Geelong North reviews
24Customer service was great, I ordered the cake online and did not have any issues. The cake was delicious.
The cakes are always well presented and fresh. Super quick service all the time. Highly recommended this place
Cookies and cream cake for birthday, dry crumbling bland, pre ordered took over 29mins to bring cake out terrible service and disgusting cake, do not recommend, wrong chocolate pieces onto was supposed to be Toblerone triangle pieces, nope they put kitcat and maltesers, not even right size pathetic
I went yesterday to buy cake for my wife. I was ring the bell lady came and I am trying to know about cake but she told me when you ready to buy cake ring the bell. She came around 10mins. She behave very rudely. I bought strawberries flavored cake from there and test was very bad and smelling. In future I never buy cake from there.
My daughter bought me a cake for my birthday from the Cheesecake shop in Separation st, Bell Park Geelong. Was very disappointing sponge was dry, cream didn't taste right and my strawberry was half rotten. Cake itself didn't look great either, a little lopsided to say the least lol. This shop used to sell amazing cakes quite a few years ago but over the last few years it's gone downhill, we will definitely not be going back for more.
I ordered a cake 2/3 weeks ago and my wife pick it yesterday for our wedding anniversary and when I got home from work it's was not the cake that I ordered. It's was not fresh and very hard to cut very disappointed. And when I called up to complain about the the cake the girl hangup the phone on me very poor service.after paying almost $80. Very poor service and the worst cake ever you could not eat it I'll give no star for it.
Very bad experience, on 16th of September bought a tropical Torte from this shop which was not fresh because picked up from display. Not recommend to go this place and waist your time and money.
We paid 230$ just for a bad and paint-taste cake, it ruined our birthday.
Untrained staff don't know how to bake
Cake topping was just rubbish, cake finishing was very unprofessional.
The cake I had bought from them was so frozen inside that it sounded crunchy when we tried to cut it. The worst thing on top of that was when we went to complain about it the girl wasn’t even admitting that there is something wrong with their cake. Anyhow after some arguments she returned the cake for a full refund.
Poor customer service and don't order a custom cake cause they gona make it different from what you want just pick the cake that's available in store
Tried to order from them four times over about 9 months and each time the order has been rejected. Why offer delivery through Menulog if you're just never going to accept the orders?
Very disappointed with the misleading advertising of this item
Did not receive as described or pictured
I've attached photos of picture advertised and description, and photo of what I received, You decide?
Description states 2xstrawberry cheesecake HALVES (which is really 1 whole) and 2x chocolate Brookie HALVES to which I received 2 chocolate Brookies and no strawberry cheesecake HALVES
Called the store, points for customer service except I drove in to collect order, drove home, realised & called the store stating "I think something is missing from my order" wasted my time coming back in to the store only to be told that the order is correct.
And the cupcakes were barely injected with anything and cupcake that was supposed to be injected with white chocolate glaze appears to be a small dot of jam?
Despite all of that, the products I did receive were very delicious.
I purposely order the cake because I saw the cake displayed was quite dry like sitting there very long time, but I was disappointed that even though I ordered one but they are the same, Dry like hell!
Most of the time cakes are not on display so you're left to imagine how a cake looks from small slices packaged in plastic near the front door. The staff are barely able to listen to plain English, an example being when I asked if they had cakes available out the back the staff member said yes and walked away out of sight to the rear of the store and mentioned something about ringing the bell if I needed assistance. I ended up giving up and headed to the Belmont store where I was served with a smile by staff who appreciate their customers.
I haven't been to the cheesecake shop in a while the last couple of cakes we have ordered for events have been either frozen in the middle or old and dry.
On this occasion i'm happy to report the cake was nice and fresh and moist.
Maybe this is because they didn't have one out the back and we had to come back in about 5 hours time.
$60.00 for the cake was a little pricey.
Came here to buy a cheesecake, ended up picking one that I liked the look of. Got home to find out the cake expired the next day after I had just paid the full price for one. Rude service when ordering also.
Cake shop should be always a place full of happiness as people always come to buy cakes for happy events. But I was extremely unhappy with the attitude of the staff. Please teach each staff to welcome the customers with a smile which will make purchase experience more joyful.
Went in about lunch time to purchase a pavlova for my guests. Although it was in the shop window they said they do not have cream for a pavlova, but all other cakes are ready.
Then we picked a tropical cake instead, but as we were paying we were told that it had been in the cooler and we had to wait an hour before eating it. Brought it home and sure enough it was frozen. Guests had to wait. Quite embarrassing.
I ordered a red velvet cake for my parents 60th wedding anniversary And paid an extra $5 for a written plaque it was supose to say congratulations on you 60th wedding anniversary but instead said congrats.not appropriate also the cake itself had orange sprinkles on the outside which looked hideous.poor effort plain white or even pink sprinkles would have look better.orange and red cake looked hideous.
If your going to advertise that your open until 7pm don't close at 4 and waste people's time. Terrible for business. Just sayin
