The Cheesecake Shop Boronia

Ordered & paid for a cake with a birthday wish on a white chocolate disc. When I went into pick up the cake, it was not the one I ordered. The disc was nicely placed on the cake with icing decorations around it. They took the cake back & brought out the correct one, however the chocolate disc was just dumped on top of the icing decorations with no care, looked terrible. I told the girl it looked terrible, no offer to fix it or a refund. Absolutely disgraceful & disappointing.

This place is the cheapest, deliciousest place i ever go. The cheese cake was perfect for its price. 10/10. Very underrated place.

Yesterday I bought a Celebration drip chocolate cake. The service was great but the cake was disgusting. Way too sweet. All had 1 mouthful and pushed it aside. The rest of the cake went into the bin. $50 wasted. I bought cakes from Cheesecake shop before and were always happy with what I got.

The cake was beautifully presented and delicious. Great delivery service. Thank you for making our lockdown birthday celebration a special experience.

Came in Friday afternoon and was greeted by a lovely lady who was on the phone on hold at the time. What a lovely lady she was, after a long day at work, it was nice to be treated like a friend and not like just another customer, such awesome service.

I’m going to be honest I thought that this cake would be a high quality class cake for the price but the cake was really poor overall it was really unhygienic and the taste was very out of the ordinary I’m going to let you know that I will not be coming back here horrible cake not impressed

Cake was fine, but the icing and topping on the cake was so awful.curdled and sour.yuk. Not impressed for a $45 cake!

The best Cheese Cake shop franchise in Melbourne. Still remembered the day my workmate bought this bee-sting cake and when I first tried i can’t believe it was from the cheesecake shop!
Every time I drive past Bayswater I will stop by and buy something home.

Me and my son went to the shop to order cake for his 8th birthday and God the cake was made just the way as he wanted. He even were spelling to the girl what he wants on his cake and she found and made exactly what he asked for. The taste was amazing, kids kept coming back for more as long as it was any left. At the end of the party this was a first time that we had no cake left. I would absolutely recommend this shop for everyone who is looking for the cake as I already told all parents where I got it from. Well done guys. You made my son so happy! Thank you

We Purchased a cake for my daughters 18th. It was decorated beautifully just as we had discussed. It was moist and lovely flavour. I had quotes from other cake shops and this was by far the cheapest and best value for money. My daughter loved it, and we had everyone asking where did you get the cake! Well done

We bought a large pavlova. Absolutely delicious and lasted a couple of days in the fridge. Yummy. Friendly staff and really lovely thank you.

Bought a birthday cake for my daughter it was the bee sting. It was absolutely amazing everyone commented on how delicious it was. We give it 10/10. Thank you for such a beautiful yummy cake. Will definitely be back!

Cakes are nice, sadly terrible hygiene. I have been there many times and regardless of who is working, they handle the cakes with their hands and they handle the money and cakes, they do not use tongs or cake lifters. I am really concerned about what happens out back if they have such blatant disregard for cleanliness and disrespect for customers, it appears they lack basic food handling training and understanding completely. Won't ever be going back and will tell others

Understaffed and a rock hard pavlova.

The poor teenage girl they had working alone was so overworked and just couldn't handle all the customers.

On top of that, I called the day before to order a pavlova but when I arrived to collect my order, it couldn't be found.

I had to settle for a crumbling, rock-hard pav that was hastily thrown together. It looked sad and my guests didn't enjoy it.

Really disappointing!

For a large franchise this store has it over the other cheese cake shops. Always willing to help you even with last minute panic moments when you have forgotten to get a cake.

For a franchise, they are one of the best ones I have ever had the opportunity to deal with. Unlike the ones in the city (not going to say which location), they didn't want me rushing out the door.

Great food, great customer service and I honestly cannot fault them. However, if you are looking to support an independent - higher prices for better quality, there are a few other places around (check out my reviews).
If not, I would choose these guys over the local Coles or Woolies' "gourmet" range of cakes. Trust me, the quality tells.
