The Carringbush Hotel

This was a Monday so the place was not busy. Vegan food is not so easy to please people with but their 3 Tacos were on special - small size so buy all three! Taste was great though. You can get a meal at an affordable price and it is not a loud pub so you can actually talk)

Wow - its been many years since I have been here for a meal. To be honest, I hadn't read the menu properly, however, it didnt matter. No meat at all on the menu -all substitutes, so you have to open up your mind. Our group had the Duck red curry, Lasagne, Gnocchi and the Ramen - all were absolutely delicious - I can personally speak from enjoying the light, fluffy pillows of gnocchi. Service was friendly and attentive. Thank you!

I’m not vegan but would consider converting after having their gnocchi, which was marvellous!

This has to be the worst food I have ever had in my life. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your money!

Really awesome pub in terms of beer, vegan food and ambience, like Really good! Half the staff are really friendly. Shame the others aren't. Spoils it really and rather odd? Overall though highly recommend.

Went in after seeing their poster advertising a pot and parma deal as I was wanting a good old parma and was actually walking to another pub to get one. Turned out they’re veggie only even though the poster doesn’t mention that nor did the staff when we ordered at the bar! I was with company so I did not make a fuss but I felt conned! Afterwards, everyone in our group ended up getting some chicken elsewhere (separately)

Opening hours suggest that they’re open till late, so we walked in at 9pm one day hoping for finger food with drinks. Their kitchen closes at 9pm unfortunately and I hope they explicitly mention that on their socials.

Came here for lunch another day, cozy atmosphere, very friendly service, lots of board games and great vegan options.

The prices do not justify their portion sizes but nevertheless an overpriced decent meal.

I would still visit again for the drinks and board games, just maybe not for the food.

My new favourite pub! Had a great vibe, the cutest pool table, art, piano and a meat free menu with yummy yum yum vegan and vegetarian dishes. A wall full of chilli sauce and great beer and wine selection. We'll be back

Before the new owners took over the hotel was one of the best in town now it’s a veggie place and you wouldn’t go there if you enjoy pub food

Popped in for the first time today. Won't be my last. Fun spot. Great vibe. Very cool art display, first class selection of crafts, footy, and friendly staff. A winner.

I can't really fault the place. Serving vegetarian meals in a pub is already a win in my book. Add to that the rustic yet modern-ish decor and helpful staff and you can't go wrong.

We came here after axe throwing and it was wonderful! Warm and cosy with great food (shoutout to the sauteed veges) and friendly team:)

Great food, Great atmosphere, Great service, Great beer.
Just a really cool place to relax and enjoy family and friends company.

So nice to find a place where you can read the whole menu. We couldn’t believe that this was all meat free food! So delicious.
We got the veg lasagne, dumplings, onion rings and tofu bbq broth. Some of the best tasting food we had in a long time.
We also got the sticky date and the cheesecake - wasn’t much like a cheesecake but was sooo yummy as well.

Nice little area in the back to sit with doggy as well.

Really enjoyed our afternoon at the Carringbush. We caught up with friends on a hot, sunny afternoon and sat outside in the courtyard. Food is good but be aware that it is a vegetarian pub. Good beer selection. Children and dog friendly. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

Corn fritters were a highlight (would make a great pattie for a veg burger), great beer selection, friendly staff and chill but unpretentious decor and atmosphere

Always a great pub experience here. Great beer and wine selection. Beautiful old building, and nice and cold inside on hot days. Exclusive vegan and vegetarian menu is nice but could do with some variety and a specials board.

Had a combined birthday party here last night. Fantastic tacos and Margheritas, friendly staff and great vibes! Other meals ordered were delicious too! We were given the entire courtyard which was so cute and perfect and just the right size for our large group. They even ordered a new gas bottle in time for the outdoor heater! Highly recommend. Thanks for making it such a great night! We’ll be back!

Great drinks selection always but extra spesh on taco Tuesday! Very yum times, thanks folks!
