15It's always a good event at the Capital. It's a beautiful old building with lots of character
The capital theatre is a magnificent building but if you go to see a band play it's a bit ordinary. Over cautious staff telling you not to go in the Isles. People can't help if they want to dance and the band encourages this. It's more dangerous trying to go to the toilet and tripping over people's feet trying to get out. The staff are pleasent and professional but as usual security a bit over the top.
Beautiful preserved building. Excellent Theatre. But SOUND below par. Too much of instruments and not enough voice. If you fix it I might give you those 2 extra stars on my next visit. Staff very friendly.
Great place to see a show. Convenient parking options. Staff were lovely to deal with and the seating was OK!
Beautiful old theatre in the heart of Bendigo. Free parking on Sunday, easy walking to cafes and restaurants. Good acoustics for modern music events.

What a gem of a place 1st time there, meal was scrumptious, hubby said it was the best steak sandwich he has ever had- great menu. Will have to go back with family. Lots of different areas to sit and relax, staff were efficient and helpful
Seats are comfortable for long performances. Always plenty of staff. Plenty of room for parking and drop off out the front.

NEXUS did a wonderful performance of Shrek & the Capitol was a great place for the performance
Excellent performing arts venue. Historic architecture beautifully preserved. Robinson Bros' concert was great. Staff welcoming and friendly.
Great show the Robinson brothers had the audience singing along to the songs they grew up with.
So good to be back in The Capital to see live shows. Such a great night with Ross Noble, and having a full house adding to that atmosphere that has been absent for so long.
