Very Upmarket ambience. Very clean and tidy. Efficient friendly staff. Limited breakfast menu. But all good tasty food. Expensive for lunch and dinner but usually booked out weeks in advance.

Fantastic food especially the seafood. The view is also an absolute highlight. Great spot for lunch over the ocean

The view is amazing and the food is gorgeous. We had the three-course and it was well worth it. The staff is friendly. Would highly recommend this place! I will come again for sure! Such a pleasant experience!

The view and the atmosphere are fenomenal, however food is really average. Our poached eggs were overcooked and we waited for our brunch over 30 minutes.

What a find! Having driven past this location for many years including its predecessor Shearwater Cafe, tucked away off the main highway, on the south side of the island, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast (9: 30 sitting) for a party of 13. Staff were lovely, bacon and eggs excellent and the standout was the ricotta hot cake.
Incredible views, nice shaded outdoor seating area and all round top experience.
Can’t wait to return and looking forward to the new hot springs development under construction, which they say is opening by early 2022

Spectacular views and great setting lines a restaurant that is tasty, crowd pleasing.

The service was a real standout today, we came at the end of thei lunchtime sitting at 3 and staff were super welcoming attentive and accommodating to two little ones.

The food didn't seem too local or refined to what I thought the menu portrayed, either way was too quality and probably the best feed your find on the island.

Book ahead and get an outdoor seat of the weather allows.

Loved this place. The staff were very friendly and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend taking a stop here for a quick bite or just to relax and enjoy the views. Bonus if you have a Tesla as they also have a Tesla charger.

Fantastic lunch for my other half's birthday celebrations. THE most incredible views, attentive staff (thanks so much for the customised birthday dessert plate!) & large servings of delicious food. 11/10!

It's a long time since I have been as disappointed in a meal as the one my wife and I shared at Cape Kitchen today.

Yes, the road in, the venue and the view is excellent, but the "12 hour cooked Lamb Shoulder" was just not up to scratch. Rather than a tasty meal that you could cut off the bone, we were served four "lamb medallions" which appeared to have been pre-cooked (or dare I say frozen and microwaved? And tasted like the carved meat I used to eat at Myers cafeteria. Neither the accompanying carrots or cauliflower were even vaguely tender, even for my wife who likes her vegetables lightly steamed at most.

To their credit, the restaurant gave use a credit on the carrots, and a couple of cakes as a makeup, but this was an extremely disappointing meal for my wife and I who had driven from Mornington for a relaxing Friday lunch. The staff were so pleasant, and attentive, that we frankly didn't have the heart to tell them what we thought of the lamb, half of which remained, so we paid and left.

I think the venue, the view and the front of house staff deserve better.

A fabulous birthday lunch with superb service. The food, wine and view to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant and it is wonderful to have something of this quality on our side of the coast. Thank you for a lovely experience. The expresso brûlée worth a try.

Expectations well exceeded at Breakfast here this morning! Too easy to feel underwhelmed these days with poor quality food and experience. This place will restore your faith! I had a wonderful lunch with 2 friends here a fortnight ago. The dining room is so beachy and relaxing with beautiful timber flooring and subtly decorated outdoor areas. The view is second to none and we had a delightful waitress Lenore (my memory may have let me down, however, I know she was travelling from overseas and her name did begin with "L! ")

Had the Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict from the specials - Sooo good! Great views of the ocean. Friendly service could have been a little quicker with more staff on board. Coffee was great too. Will go back again and again if it stays like this.

Outstanding view of the sea from the comfort of the restaurant. Remarkable service and food was AMAZING! Attentive and very professional staff, nothing was too much and they went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Ample parking and lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

Lunch was fantastic as was desert and the view of Bass Straight is delightful. The staff were very efficient and friendly. We keep going back as we know we will have a great meal!

I love this place, I would come here just for the views, no other venu on the Vic Coast compares, the fact the food and staff are as equally good just makes this place a must visit.
