Quiet cafe with a beautiful outdoor setting with a view.

The food is good and the price is fair. The food is as you expect. Coffee was also good.
Nothing outstanding but also nothing bad.

We were there late on the weekend and it was quiet which we enjoyed.
The elevated outdoor setting is by a small pond which is nice.
Plenty of parking around.

We visited as a group of 7 one Sunday morning. We ordered mostly the same thing which was the big breakfast. The venue was mostly empty with two other parties of four there. In spite of how quiet it was the food took over an hour to come out, and it was also luke warm and the baked beans were cold like they'd just been poured out of the can they came in. For $26 you'd expect more.

Avoid for breakfast

Do not recommend, horrible service, the staff are all children that have ZERO idea what they are doing, waited an hour for food, customers were walking out when we arrived and told us to not bother entering, we should’ve listened. Could not be more disappointed. Went to grab water but there were all half dranken jugs, no one was refilling the jugs, no glasses available, absolute circus of a business, it’s a joke. After waiting an hour for my food the chef didn’t know what I ordered. Do yourself a favour and just get the breakfast menu from McDonald’s next door rather than come to this catastrophe of an organisation.

Went there for lunch yesterday for fathers day the food was great however took a while to come but this is understandable as they were very busy.staff were apologetic and friendly and the view from outside was lovely.definitely recommend coming at a quieter time but overall would definitely recommend.

We went there on a Sunday morning and it took them 45min to serve us coffee and cakes!
Cakes haven’t been even warmed! Coffees came 25min after the cakes.
Don’t waste your time going there.

Had a lovey lunch outside. Loved the atmosphere. Could I make a suggestion? What would be good is if you could rotate your tables outdoors 90%, so everyone can admire the lovely view of the water, especially if a large group is seated. I will return with my group as I was impressed with the menu as well.

I really enjoyed their gluten-free options. I tried their mixed berry frappe and carrot cake (which is the same price as their standard, non gluten-free carrot cake, so that was a nice surprise).
Good quality drink and cake. Friendly service and inviting atmosphere for brunch.

Went to Boss's Boots for the first time on Mother's Day. The cafe was not busy. Took half an hour to get a lemon bitters (pre-bottled version by the way). When the waitress brought it out she said "sorry we have run out of ice" which I was okay with until I was handed a hot glass that had clearly just come out of the dishwasher. When asked if she had a cold glass she said no. I suggest the cafe owners invest in more glassware because clearly the lack of glassware was the reason for the half hour wait. Our meals were also very slow come out. We waited over an hour to receive them. The meals were great and prices were reasonable but I don't think I'll be hurrying back anytime soon because the wait was just too long.

My husband and I frequently visit here for breakfast. Staff are friendly, food delicious and such a beautiful spot to wind down and enjoy on a Sunday after a busy week.

Husband and daughter had caesar salad was delicious I had Prawn & Vegetable Dumplings was so tasty. Coffee great too

Bosses Boots is now, without a doubt, our favourite Cafe. Been a number of times now, and the service today was fantastic (Thank you Sebastian) and the food was perfect. In particular the BBQ Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict, which was amazing. As always the coffee was spot on and the atmosphere and tranquillity of the location made it a memorable morning. Highly recommend

Very yummy food, big portions, great family friendly place and the coffees are impeccable, BEST COFFEE I'VE EVER HAD. The waiters are really friendly and efficient. Overall a great experience! Will come back again:)

Worst cafe I have been to.
This place should seriously close its doors.
Lost both our coffee and food orders. Only after we prompted them after 45 minutes of no service and no food, did they admit they had lost our order.
When the coffee finally came the mug rim was covered in pink lipstick.
The food never came.
We demanded our money back and walked out without eating.

Food nice (although piece of plastic found in one meal was unwelcome extra) but service unfortunately very underwhelming. New management would not honour a gift certificate purchased under old owner which was the cherry on top. All this is enough to guarantee we won’t be back.

Food was exceptional. Went last Sunday with the kids and loved the wide selection on the kids menu as well as the specials. Service was impeccable and the manager was very friendly. Will definitely be coming again.

Terrible service but great food. Waited forever for food, as did the people around us. Waitress stood talking to a customer/friend while people waited for their meals while other ppl on the table already had their food. No urgency amongst staff, no apologies. Had to ask frequently for water

The team at The Bosses Boots are fantastic and the food is amazing. A really great cafe that's away from the main areas of Chirnside Park and a perfect place to catch up with friends, family and even clients!

Very disappointing.we had scones that did not taste like a fresh made scone should but as though it was a cheap packet mix. The cream was out of a can and the jam was also a cheap store bought jam with no fruit whatsoever. The waitress was not particularly friendly and looked at you blankly when asked a question. We will not be going back. I think the owners have changed because this was always a delicious place to eat.
