The Body Shop

I went here one afternoon and was greeted and served by a lovely lady named Kat. She explained to me about the benefits of the Tea Tree range, and recommended which products I should try out first. She also had exceptional customer services skills.

I felt the cashier was talking down to me when I was trying out the hand cream. It wasn't if I was there to abuse the free samples. I bought one of their products today. I would have bought the hand cream if I didn't feel like I was treated like a street urchin.

The older woman was very rude and unprofessional. I did the right thing and QR coded into the store and the employee proceeded to do a head count and announce that there were three too many people in the store. I happily said that my daughters and myself would leave. Another lady and her daughter kindly said they were leaving, however there was still one too many. I was waiting for my daughters, but the employee looked at me and said abruptly with a nod "thank you for your understanding and goodbye". I stood outside the door and waited for someone to leave. When I did re enter the store, I felt very uncomfortable and wasn't offered any assistance by this woman except for an offer of making a larger purchase at the checkout for a "special deal" on hand creams. I acknowledge the regulations and was happy to abide by them, but it was the poor treatment. The other two employees were polite. I have been buying body shop for over twenty years and will continue to do so online or elsewhere. I would give a one star rating, but it wouldn't be fair to the other ladies.
