Genuine and authentic Italian food

We went for a big family lunch at this place. It was my first visit to Caroline Springs and we all felt great the moment we entered the restaurant. There were two other big groups in the restaurant, which made us feel that we chose the right place.

Our food experience was absolutely delightful. All the items were authentic Italian served by smiling servers making our lunch a big success. The food is top-notch, the ambiance is welcoming, and the service is outstanding. Overall, my experience at Boardwalk pizzeria was fantastic.

Their location was also beautiful and today's weather made it great. My only regret that we could not eat outside but never mind we are coming back.

Some of the best pizza I've ever had.

I was reluctant to go here, despite my wife's recommendation, because I miss my old suburb's pizzeria, and didn't think it could be beaten.

I was wrong. The crusts are amazing, and unlike many pizzas, don't give me indigestion. The toppings are generous, but in good proportions, and the quality of the food is top notch.

I've enjoyed enormously every pizza I've had from here. Absolutely top notch.

Absolutely wonderful food. There were 5 of us and everyone really enjoyed their food. We had chicken Schnitzel, pork ribs and baked Barra. All fabulous.
My only criticism is that it is quite loud inside so my elderly mum had a little trouble hearing, but that can't be helped.
All the staff were really helpful, too!

Amazing Wood Oven Pizza & Great pasta! Reasonably priced. Looking forward to going back to try other items on the menu. Staff were very friendly.

I have eaten at The Boardwalk Pizzeria a few times now. Tonight was by far the best meal I’ve had from there. The pork ribs were AMAZING! So tender that it effortlessly fell off the bone, the bbq sauce was amazing, the chips were crispy and the side salad was very tasty. The dressing was divine!
The staff were very welcoming as we turned up without a booking and even though they were busy, the gentleman at the door still accommodated us.
The only reason I did 4 stars instead of 5 is because I find the restaurant too loud. The room echoes, so it’s loud enough with people trying to speak up to have a conversation, but then the music is also very loud. It just makes it very hard to have a conversation when you’re there with a group.
But all in all, we do come back here often, the food has always been delicious!

One of the better dining experiences you’ll find in the west, especially for the budget. The atmosphere is modern, bright and attractive, featuring an open air kitchen with a wood-fire stove constantly wafting out incredible aromas. The food was a delicious, featuring your staples of Aussie-Italian cuisine, leaning more towards the traditional Italian than your usual Parma-spot.

I’ll admit I was very apprehensive of this place upon opening initially, as I found it to be a symbol of the gentrification of the area. That being said I was extremely surprised at the high level of care towards and food and dining experience, for a few extra dollars than what you’d usually spend for a plate of disappointment at the local La Porchetta, you’ll find not only an amazing meal; but a warm and friendly place to sit down and eat.

I now see The Boardwalk Pizzeria as a symbol of progress for the area, serving up an Italian spread to rival the best Lygon St.eateries. The pizza reminds me a of much better and heartier version of Brunetti’s, portions are relatively large and great for sharing if you want to try a bit of everything, which I highly recommend you do.

Best food in this Suburb. The service is the best, they really accommodated us as parents and it's a great place to chat as the environment is not heaps loud. Perfect

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions are a good size. They have great outdoor seating by the water if you’re visiting on a nice day. We were eating with the little ones and the staff were so accomodating. Definitely coming back!

This is my fourth time coming here with my wife and we love this place. Every time we come here, we receive the same quality pizza.

Had a mushroom truffle and Italian sausage pizza. It was delicious and what I couldn't eat that night made for lunch the next day. Would eat there weekly if I lived here. Thank you.

Absolute quality pizza
So much flavour, pizza base was cooked to perfection and tasted as good as it looked.
