The Bistro reviews
9Wagu beef was amazing! And even the seafood spaghetti was worthy dish to have. Taste was spot on - from the wagu beef to the side dishes of roasted vegetable and chip.
Beautiful food, great atmosphere with TLC service. Great place, highly recommended & great for kids
It's the same restaurant as the Spanish grill next door.
We had the calamari as entre and it was tasty.
The mains were just standard restaurant food, nothing fancy but nothing to complain about.
The restaurant seems to be under staffed. We had a very friendly waitress but took her a long time to bring us even just water once we sat down. She said she was the only waitress/waiter rostered for the night. We feel really sorry for her. I hope the condition improves for the staff.
Excellent food. So tasty, freshly made, quick, hot. Excellent service. Great atmosphere and very clean.
In a town dominated by pubs and clubs, good restaurant dining is valuable. So, don't not go there, but manage your expectations. The food was quite OK but certainly not great. The service was pretty good but I loathe being asked "Did we enjoy our meals? " The wine list had more than 4 substitutions raising the issue that maybe updating it more often would be good. I didn't mind the night but it's not a cheap restaurant and smoothing out those unnecessary and irritating issues would be a good idea.
Without a doubt this is the one of the worst bistro i have ever gone to the service was non existent, food was average and even though i ordered a main meal you would swear it was a entree and finally it was expensive. Seriously do yourself a favour and go somewhere else!
Good food, though they certainly don't give it away. Service was good but for me a bit slow as I was on my lonesome. Had my wife been here, probably the service timing would've been fine.
One of those places that tries to upsell with sides, but I found the main (medallions) filling enough without any extras.
Tiramisu was pretty much formula which is a shame. Go for the main and then head elsewhere.
Very disappointed. The kangaroo was so small. Wine that we ordered was not available yet we were still charged for it (didn't realise until we reviewed the receipt at home). The waitresses were less than helpful and the awful church hymns being played of the piano made for a strange atmosphere. Shame Season's has gone so downhill.
I had the waitress' recommendation which turned out to be 600gms of grain-fed heaven on a plate unspoilt by token vegetation. Great food should elevate you and a great steak will transport you through space and time.this one took me back to my first kiss - warm, moist, with a hint of rosemary and pepper sauce - my cheeks were flushed and my toes curled in my shoes as I succumbed to the charms and curves of this perfect cooked flesh - it was just enough to leave me gasping for more. You need to eat the steak here before you die. It's as simple as that.
