My colleague and I chose The Big Goose for a school excursion and we took two classes of 5-6 year olds last week. We were blown away with the educational content and the amazing lessons the staff were running. They were able to cater to our needs so well. We had parent helpers come along and they also said that this was one of the better farms in the area. The children had a fantastic day. I was very pleased with the schedule that was provided and it was exceptional value for money. I will absolutely be bringing my class back here again. I would recommend this to other schools also. We chose the 'Farmer Program' and it was exceptional.

It was a great day out. The weather was perfect and the sun was up. We all arrived there around 10: 30am which I highly recommend as you can follow the different shows on and good parking. From the gate the staff were friendly. It is definitely value for money and enough places to sit and have lunch. The tractor ride was fun as you get to see the whole farm and the new little arrivals to the place. The reptile show was entertaining. The little goats, the Guinea pigs, kangaroos all the animals were great and little hidden secrets along the way. The staff were very informative and friendly great job guys will be coming back again.

Best place to take children and keep them busy during school holidays. My children loved this experience

This place has drastically deteriorated in the past few years. You are greeted by 2 of the sadest looking donkeys wondering a weed infestated enclosure followed by another sad enclosure with alpacas & lamas. A baby calf had been shoved into another enclosure with an aggressive goat without its mother. The "petting" area only had guinea pigs. Rabbits were scared to move. Where have the baby ducks or chickens gone.even a lamb was available in the past for petting. Terrible. The half hasted playground was 1 loose rope away from collapsing - the toys looks like they had been scavenged off local tips or hard rubbish collections. Generally the place was sad, tired, & in desperate need of a huge cash injection from the owners. Best part was the free (average) coffee and the tractor ride, despite only having a very small number of animals.if you like geese roaming around honking, this is you place for fun.

Very overpriced for what's on offer.

Was great! Very interactive, not too busy.

Much better then some of the bigger zoos.

The reptile show was fantastic and engaging

My family and I attended today taking my grandson for a day out.
In one of the petting areas we came across a dead baby sheep covered in flies and another close to death
. These animals were extremely dehydrated.
The enclosure had NO WATER at all or any form of a container to hold water!
My family started feeding water from our water bottles to the living sick sheep left in the enclosure.
! Another family member ran for help.it took her over 10 minutes to find an adult to help.
It was a hot day and ANIMALS NEED water!
We ended up leaving without seeing the rest of the establishment.
If they can’t properly look after their animals they shouldn’t be running a place like this.

Really impressed with this farm. My three year old loved feeding and patting the animals. The playgrounds are spacious and fun. Excellent food at the Cafe and really friendly staff. Looking forward to returning in the near future!

My 5 year old went here on a Kinder excursion and had an awesome time. He loved the interaction with the animals, from feeding, holding and chasing them about. Definitely wear gumboots on wet days and check their boots before you get back into your vehicle haha.
Luckily we have a good SUV because we did find the entrance in and out to be quite a rough road. The prices are reasonable and we are thinking about getting a yearly pass!

We have been a few times to The Big Goose and went again today, the grounds are so beautiful to walk around, all the animals are well cared for and the whole place is very interactive with lots to do! There is also the wonderful play ground, boat playground, mini golf, tractor ride, and other activities and many picnic tables! Lachie did a fantastic reptile talk and all the kids got to hold a snake around them! We ended up spending five hours and had a really fun time! Highly recommend bringing a picnic and checking out the place! It’s spring so there are baby animals and remember to wear gumboots or shoes that your okay with getting a bit muddy!

Awesome fun for the kids and family. A lot of animal places are rundown, however The Big Goose is far from it, with a great range of different animals, friendly staff and attractions

Great for young children to experience farm life and see and feed so many animals. A great day out. The playground is a favourite too

I love this place, I’ve found it’s so much better than most farm experiences around. Even the playground is great. My daughter had a ball. I also thought the cafe was great too.

Over -priced entry fee.
Not much animals to see. Sand in playground not a good idea as kids shoe gets filled with sand.
Requires additional baby change rooms.
The maze needs upgrading.
Overall okay, but won’t be going there again.

This is one of the best places to get up close to animals in all of Victoria. Despite not having a 10 foot high fibreglass goose, like I expected, that did not ruin the day. There were geese everywhere free roaming through the whole park.
Everything else, from Wombats, Dingos, Foxes and Snakes to Alpacas, Cows, Llamas, Seep and dozens of other animals.
The reptile show was a highlight for me. There are few things as fun seeing a grown man chase small children around (lovingly) with lizards and watching the kids pretend to freak out.

The kids really enjoyed the farm. It's one of the better ones in Victoria. Lots to do and good range of animals to see. Worth the time and money spent.

Had a wonderful day with the grand kiddies and loved the interaction with the animals. Especially the ostriches. Brought back fond memories of our time having our ostrich farm. Awesome playground and good coffee ️ and food.

The Big Goose was an awesome way to entertain lively 4 and 5 year olds. From the playground to animal feeding and tractor rides everything was easy to navigate. The pumpkin soup at the cafe was delicious too! All the staff were fantastic with the kids and it was amazing to see them all pitching in to assist in all aspect of the running of the business. We arrived late to the wombat breakfast feeding, but the lovely gentleman offered to hang around and tell the kids all about them. Its definitely worth a visit if you have kids aged 4 -12 years of age.

Wonderful farm with plenty to see and a great array of friendly animals and great staff.

Only a few downsides, toilet facilities could use some serious work, the mini golf is very much mini-mini golf and the dingo enclosure does not look very good for them.
