The Beauty & Brow Parlour

Went in for a clean up on my brows, i made small talk as i do whenever i go into brow parlours to make a better experience, and she was more interested in having a conversation that actually doing my brows.she spent literally 2 minutes with her string, no trimming, no tweezing extra hairs as i get at other places, literally did that and was done. “would you like some aloe vera gel” what for? You barely did anything.don’t go here guys.waste of time.i’m also left with uneven brows that i now have to fix myself.disappointed

Come here if you want to get scammed. Will be reporting this business to consumer affairs for not displaying the right prices upfront and with misleading prices. The board outside the store shows two prices for brow threading but when i went to thread my brows they charged an even higher price ($20) that was not even stated on the service menu board outside. This goes against the rules stated in the consumer affairs website. When i questioned the lady during payment, she gave me some weird excuse about price changes which did not make any sense and just looked like she was trying to justify her marking up the price. She didn't even shape my brows or trimmed the area, she basically threaded the area around my brows. Extremely dissatisfied and no one should be patronising such a dishonest business with u hygienic and lazy staff. Will definitely be taking up a complaint with consumer affairs about this. Highpoint has other good brow threading shops so save your time, money and brows and go somewhere else. Judging from previous reviews, this has been going on for quite some time as well. No point replying to this review to appear like you care about your customers BECAUSE YOU DONT. Stop pretending and take some proper action before other people will.

Lady who did my eyebrow threading was very good. Not so painful and did a good job cleaning up the growth. Also didnt take too much hair like other places.

My goodness! Went in on Thursday night at about 7.30pm with my daughter and asked to get our eyebrows waxed. Once completed went to pay and they charged $20 per person instead of $15.00 which is what is clearly stated on the price list at the entrance of the shop. When I asked why is it $20 when the list says $15 the response was they had to shape them which has never happened before and was not different to any other time of having them done. The lady in question was aggressive and defensive with her answer and was seen laughing with her colleague once we had left. This is not about the money but the misleading information and answer I was provided. To make matters worse when we got home we still had wax all over the area that was waxed. DO NOT GO THERE.

I go here often very good service all the people are so kind and friendly! They are very good with getting the perfect shape for my brows she kept me updated with everything she was doing to make sure I was happy. Great place to get your eyebrows done the only people I trust

I’ve been going to Beauty and Brow in Melb Central for years and always charged the right price for always happy with their service but beware of prices and services offered at the Highpoint store I should’ve learned my lesson the first time I was overcharged. Never going there again!

I wanna thank Monica for her amazing service this morning. I went in looking like John Howard and walked out looking like a supermodel. She was gentle, thorough and precise. My brows and lip have never looked better!

Muskan did an lash lift on me and i asked for a super subtle lift and she killed it, it was exactly what i asked for.for $65, cheapest lash lift i could find especially locally, she did what needed to be done!

They don’t know how to run a store. If the door is opened it means u are supposed to accept customers. If you are not accepting anyone but only serving those already waiting in the Q then u should put a CLOSED BANNER on the door. Learn some professionalism. I would rather go to a place with a better service. Highly disappointed

The lady was very harsh with the procedure. Worst experience in Melbourne so far. Used very hot wax. Not gentle at all. I would rather go to the Broadmeadows branch.

I Done my eyebrows 2 months ago which is I liked it so today 14/06/22 I went to the shop to do my eyebrows the girl was on the phone while she talked me and directed me to the chair then she started doing my eyebrows still on the phone which I wasn’t comfortable at all so I t her I can wait until she finish her phone call then I was waiting waiting but she’s not finished so I left I was very disappointed with her behaviour

Do not go here! Just started threading and pulling out hair that shouldn't have been pulled out. My eyebrows are destroyed

The worst eyebrow threading I have ever experienced Went in for a Eyebrow threading on the 06/11 at about 12pm. Asked the girl to just shape it evenly and not pull too much out as my eyebrows were very thin and took a long time to grow out. Ended up with very uneven brows. (See pic posted) I had to ask her to clean up the ends of the eyebrows and was told to do a proper clean up would cost extra and the whole process was painful. Extremely disappointed with the service. Do Not recommend!
