The Bagel Shop reviews
34Was waiting too long for my order and the Manager/Staff noticed that my order was overlooked so she offered me a complimentary voucher for my next order. The bagel taste really good and delicious. Highly recommended.
Fast and friendly service. Coffee was decent enough. Bagels were dense and tasty, blueberries were not overpowering cream cheese was sweet and creamy. There indoor seating and its a pretty busy location
Average bagel, tasted like a bread roll. ‘Sold out’ of everything bagels at 7am so makes me think it isn’t made fresh daily or the girl didn’t know what was going on. My order was taken incorrectly so I got the wrong cream cheese, and then halfway through eating our bagels they told us they ‘couldn’t make the black coffee’ that we had ordered but could somehow make a latte. Unsure why you wouldn’t be able to add water to espresso the same way you could add milk. Minutes later saw the girl who worked at the shop sipping an iced long black behind the counter, which is what I’d ordered. My friend who got a latte found it watery and threw it out. Overall the girl who worked there seemed out of her depth, the bagels were disappointing and we wouldn’t go back. Also signed up on their website for the free bagel and have received nothing so I think that should be taken down as it is quite a dishonest way to collect details. Overall so disappointing given the images of the bagels on socials looked quite good. Hopefully they step it up.
I ordered 2 bagels and an iced coffee that totalled to around $50 and i have never been more disappointed in what I received. The maple bacon bagel looked completely different to the photo and had half the toppings shown. The cream cheese was a thin layer scraped on with cubed chucks of bacon, no maple taste at all. The coffee tasted like instant coffee made with water. I don’t recommend this place. Definitely not worth the money.
Come here everyday. Got the honey fried chicken bagel. Silently increased price by a $1 to $17 (not cheap) and then randomly they decided to change the recipe from fresh chicken to Woolworths bought flat disgusting plastic. Also, although a small detail, despite coming everyday for a month getting the same thing, staff never remembered my order. On top of that they never encouraged their rewards program. Unfortunate.
They must have run out of baked egg today and just replaced it with a fried egg which was gross, wish I knew before I ordered
Bagel was nice. I had the smashed avo with smoke salmon. Combination was very tasty. A bit too much of cream cheese and a lot of avo was on the paper.
Went to the bagel shop for lunch and tried the buffalo chicken and the philly cheese steak. They.were.amazing!
Chewy Bagel for takeaway or eat in at a convenient location opposite the State Library.
First choose the bagel from a selection of 8 - I really like the Everything Bagel - its chewy and fragrant with all the seeds.
For a snack, I like the sweet and creamy blueberry cheese bagel ($7). For something more substantial, the fresh-tasting, firm texture salmon gravlax ($16) with the pickled onions and tart capers is my go-to selection.
Service is friendly.
Delicious bagel? Had a hot honey fried chicken, took a while to wait for the meal but it worth
Delicious bagels! For breakfast, we ordered the avo smash and asked for a peanut butter and nutella bagel (swapped from their pb and j, as the nutella and marshmallow was out of stock), which they did at no extra cost? Super super tasty, would definitely recommend putting that one on the menu.
The most expensive bagel of my life. The mushroom bagel was fresh, good portion (medium size I would say) but tasteless and again super expensive. (14 dollar for mushroom bagel, why?)
Amazing bagels! We ordered salmon (with jalapeno and cheese bagel) and sausage and egg (with everything bagel). Tasted amazing. Flat whites were smooth and strong!
Before two days me and my friend went to the bagels shop because he wanted to drink coffee. My friend had latte and he complimented the coffee then he said it was the best latte he drank ever then he ordered another one. We want to thank Claudia for making the coffee and looking after us presenting the best hospitality. Surely it is not the last time to have the incredible coffee here.
My bagel was delicious. Lots of choices for fillings, as well as bagel types. Nice place to sit in and people watch also.
Really good food. Cute little restaurant. The team could focus on clearing tables between customers quicker, but otherwise great.
Located right in the heart of cbd. This new bagel shop is quite nice. First time trying bagel. Ordered bacon egg and hash with chips and it was quite nice. Loved the chips and the sauce but it was quite small. Service was quick and friendly. Good atmosphere and good seating with wide window.
Quite busy during weekend due to its location.
What a gorgeous little gem! My "everything" bagel with cream cheese was great. Don't be nervous if all the tables are taken when you walk in - there is a relatively high turnover of customers. Probably not the cosiest place for an extended catch-up with a friend, but great for a quick eat and run.
Went here today for lunch and it was amazing. There are multiple vegan options and not just taking the cheese off, actual vegan replacements like vegan chicken and vegan cheese and vegan cream cheese. I got the fried chicken bagel and it was delicious. So huge as well so really good value for money.
The best staff ever. Premium bagels, so many options + coffee! Such nice staff, can't wait to try more bagels
