The Avenue Village Shopping Centre reviews
31 I have been here a couple of times
The fish and chips were magnificent I would certainly go there again
Great small shopping centre with everything you need. A good supermarket and several food outlets - a popular local spot.
Got everything at one place. Supermarket, restaurants, takeaways, chemist warehouse, all you could ask for. Need more parking space as its too busy always
Awful parking. Locals all drive WAY too fast in this area. Be careful! Everyone leaves shopping carts in car park area. I was walking back to my car from the supermarket on a windy day and witnessed a trolley smash into my car. Shopping isles seem tiny compared to others, so everyone's basically pushing in front of you or ontop of you trying to get whatever they're after. If workers are restocking the shelves, good luck trying to get around them, or getting a particular item you're after, cos they will not move. If you're brave enough to kindly ask, they will roll their eyes at you and let you know they aren't happy about it.
If u hv never been to here trust me Ur missing out in Ur life this fish and chips shop is the best it hv good costumer service and the food is the best of the best
I highly recommend u guys to go and try it out and trust me it's worth it was
I visited Woolworths for some supplies. Also there are several interesting stores across the road. Food stores, Asian, Sri Lankan Restaurant Beauty, Laundry etc and a Medical Centre.
Very Convenient.
Staffs here are very helpful and kind enough to respond to our quires. I found a basket of fruits free for children. I like the attitude.
Convenient location and reasonable open parking.
Liquor, Groceries, Chemists Warehouse and food on the go is available and plenty more options.
Great small business centre. Chemist warehouse is a great place. Very good service and cheap medicine. The fish and ships shop is good friendly place.
This is a good car place to shop and park they have 2 entrance for car parking and 2 main doors.
Only bad point is not much open at 09: 30 on a Saturday and not much stock in the Safeway store.
A lot of empty shelves.
Will try again when covid has finished.
Its a easy shop if u need something its there and I think they should have a $2 gift shop or a reject shop because it would be handy
Shopping centre all good. Car park a little confusing as there are no exit signs and parking is a little tight.
Clean. Went into Woolies. Baskets were being cleaned, sanitizer was available. Staff were friendly and helpful.
A well-oiled machine.
I took advantage of the courtesy hours for pensioners and DHS card holders this morning 18/3/20.
I arrived about 20 minutes early and people were lining up in orderly fashion.
The staff were on top of absolutely everything.
There was a brief announcement regarding what would happen upon entry and all information provided was very clear.
The staff already had essential items all ready to go including things like t.p, sugar, UHT milk and tissues etc that they had to hand out upon entry. Both customers and staff were cool, calm and collected.
It was brilliant.
I would personally like to thank the staff for making such a tremendous effort for those of us who continue to require extra services like these.
Given such a stressful global climate atm, they went above and beyond to ensure that all of us obtained what we needed with the most minimum of fuss.
Well done to all and thank you again.
Great place to shop no big crowds lots of variety of restaurants and various other business and takeaways
We go here on odd occasions. Mainly supermarket which is probably the most under used around.
A couple of take out or eat in places in the centre.
Opposite side of the street more takeaways. Specialist grocers and the like.
A new Dr surgery just opened also.
Due to its position this is not a high traffic area. Its on the very edge of estates but when the land on Thompsons rd is developed it will probaby be better utilized.
Very clean shopping village (looks fairly new like it has been built only few years ago), went to the Woolworths here for getting some last minute dinner things and the staff here were more cheerful (especially at the checkout) than the rest of the supermarkets I have been to. The BWS staff were exceptional too:) I also saw a great sunset from the car park, also it has great access from there.
I visited the woollies shopping centre. Its very clean and spacious. The only throw back was the car park. It's a bit too tight.
Moderate shopping centre which also has a Sri Lankan shop called Pelessa and also has a good Woolies: D.
The Woolworth here is my favourite it’s always got reduced fresh items, I can save a lot of money for my family shopping here. Plenty of parking and a lot of stores in the area like crest warehouse. Easy to get to but beware of the construction it can be alittle da growth as there’s no clear road markings
