The night started off really good we had some kilpatrick oysters and they were great. However from there we had the yelling chef that was off putting them we got our mains, the shellfish basque was very underwhelming for $32 you get the tiniest bit of fish and a huge amount of sauce and the Calamari Spaghetti was ok the calamari was very rubbery and undercooked the spaghetti was also under cooked however the service was great

The food was very good. However, the menu was limiting.
Service levels from staff could have been better.
The worst part of our dining experience was that the music was too loud and the choice of music could have been far better.
We thought we we in a disco with the duf duf they were playing.
All we wanted was an intimate dinner for our wedding anniversary as we have done on 2 previous times at this restaurant. Not the case this time. And there won't be a next.

Food was lovely and the service was impeccable.but $13 for 2 glasses of still water is bit much. We didn't even drink them, we ordered cocktails.

Dinner out after the footy in Melbourne with 6 of us. Fine dining is not something us blokes generally do. Everyone was very impressed with how good the meals were but the price was probably a match for the quality of the food but much more than we would normally pay. Those that got the lamb were very happy. I had the octopus and enjoyed that. Snickers dessert was a winner. Somewhere I will probably take the wife when next in Melbourne.

My wife took me to this restaurant with some friends for my birthday and I must say they didn’t miss a beat everything was outstanding good job Atlantic

The manager was extremely rude, my partner was not feeling well, the manager kept on insisting drinks while clearly not following RSA norms, when I insisted on the clearing my bill they just kept delaying it, and in between the manager came again with a glass of wine which he kept on insisting my partner to try and portraying it as $800 bottle, it was an extremely unpleasant and an awkward experience, pathetic attempt to charge someone more.

Enjoyed a few hours with some champagne. The oysters are delicious at $3 each in the afternoon.

Went here on Fathers Day 2023, i had the Salmon tartare, which was so fresh and crisp, then the duck and paprika croquette.just divine. Then followed by the lamb rack. Meat was perfectly cooked, so tender, only negative was that it was a bit bland. For dessert, i had the cinnamon donuts.oh wow.magnificent.so light and fresh. But overall, loved the food here. Service fantastic and friendly.

Ordered through Providoor got food delivered and as I was unpacking it noticed mould all over food. Emailed restaurant with no reply! Health department will be in touch

Restaurant space is quite nice, impressive with Open Kitchen and Bar. Seafood is not so good as expected, maybe because I'm a bit fastidious, Steak is not very good maybe because I don't like the taste of sauce, Food is served a bit long, maybe that day there are many customers. However, I also like this restaurant when traveling in Melbourne

Amazimg. I have dined at some of the best and this rates high. Great food and Awesome wine list.my wife and I seem to always come for a guaranteed great experience.

Overall we enjoyed the entrees we ordered and my husband said his steak was good but my main meal (chicken) was less than average. The crumbed chicken was very thin with barely any actual chicken and it was tasteless - I had to ask for a sauce to put over it for some flavor and the 3 slices of potato were just as bad. And as for the so called salad, it was literally 5 leaves of lettuce- thats it! And all of this cost $36.

The overall ambience of the place was too seedy, didn't order seafood mains but order the prawn leader entree and that was a big thumbs down.
The steak how ever was superb.
The crumbed chicken was also superb.
But in saying that I would not revisit,

I would like to express my gratitude to the owner of The Atlantic and staff. I had the privilege of meeting the beautiful manager Anna who helped organise the most wonderful event for my 50th birthday. Also Donna in administration who helped organise the packages to accommodate my guests. On the night the food and cocktails were amazing. Our waiters Lorenzo and Mark who's service was outstanding with attending to all of my 24 guests needs. Anna continuously checking to making sure that everything was perfect, and it was. I cannot thank you all enough. I highly recommend The Atlantic for events and l look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We went to the Atlantic Restaurant while in Melbourne for my husband's birthday last weekend. The food was delicious, the apple crumble cocktail amazing, service excellent BUT the extremely loud head banging night club music would certainly stop us from going there ever again. I asked the embarrassed waitress if she could turn it down please which they did for 15 minutes then back up again! Very unexpected for such a beautiful restaurant.

OMG YUMMMM! This is one of my favourite seafood restaurants in Melbourne! High quality of seafood! My boyfriend and I absolutely love their oysters (super fresh!) & bay bug spaghetti! Also, staffs are so lovely and attentive! 11/10 customer service!

Bit disappointed in the spaghetti Morten Bay bug meal, needed more seasoning, garlic or chilli. After saying that the restaurant itself was great and the staff very friendly. I would go back however I'd try a different meal next time.
