The Albion Rooftop reviews
64What a great place to chill and enjoy with your friends. Amazing Latino night also. People who love to learn to dance salsa is a great place.
They only think that the music must be very loud, but they don't worry if it sounds good. The distortion is terrible and it is not understood why they keep the bass over modulated. For those who only like reggaeton it is perfect, but if you like variety it is not the place.
A place where you will feel at home if you are Latin and if you are not you will live the experience of being one for a night of unbridled Latin reel
Every Friday the security service at the entrance is very rude to Latinos, I will update the Latino community. I have photos.
Good place n very bad bar service I spoke to manger her name is Lucy n omg very bad n rude Maneger never there again really bad experience
Hi there, could you please turn down the volume at least on Sunday nights?
There are people who goes to work on Monday morning.
Please be mindful with your neighbors that actually live here.
We can listen entire lyrics of the songs really loud.
And the walls in the bedroom are vibrating because of your music.
Thanks
Great vibe, public holiday for the GF went off. Met the owner, genuine bloke, reminds me of Anthony watmough.
Unfortunately my visit to the Albion on Friday night was not a positive one. I had booked a birthday package and within that, I was told over the phone that my guests would receive discounted, $15 entry. However, on the night, my friends got charged $25 for a rooftop bar, not clubbing experience. The entire downstairs was closed with only the rooftop which had a dj and very few people dancing. Security kicked everyone out at around 12: 45am, making comments such as “hurry up, it’s past my bed time” which I didn’t consider very professional, especially when they advertise to close at 2am. I do not understand how they had the audacity to charge $25 when the club was closed, considering most rooftop bars in the city are free of entry. So just wanted to let people know what to expect on a Friday night when visiting the Albion and express my disappointment as it ruined my night celebrating my birthday.
Figurative more out of 5 stars salt and pepper calamari very good live music very good security guard in the girls bathroom not on one start adducted more out of bugs and super come over again love you think very good Siri
From Rory cheers
Went on a Friday night which wasn’t too busy - I was shocked to see three bouncers though! Seemed unnecessary or did I miss something?
Drinks were good but the overall vibes were a bit off - chic design + sports on tv + loud live band? Hard to get what kind of guests they’re trying to attract.
This is a racist and a non inclusive venue. I am an Australian 20 year old male wearing a buttoned shirt jeans and adidas white shoes. Every venue I have been to has let me in with the same clothes I am wearing but this venue decided to not allow me to enter. Extremely disappointed and will be telling my friends to not attend this venue. This venue only seems to be allowing those of European decent inside. Fix this discrimination Dane Swan
Had a really great experience here. The security at the door were friendly, we had a booth and the service was really good. My friend got kicked out for being too drunk and the event manager Claudia was absolutely amazing at helping her, she stayed with her, messaged her bf off her phone to try get her home, took her inside because it was cold and raining gave her water made sure she got in the car safely. I’ve never known for any staff to be so caring for a stranger and someone that just got kicked out of their venue for having too much too drink.
Booked a booth.when we arrived we where told it was no longer available? Then it was? Paid over 1k… only to have the security kick us out an hour later.super aggressively.which wasn’t warranted.hero’s!
What a rubbish experience! Won’t be going back.
Didn’t get let in because of my hair which isn’t stated in dress code, although my attire was dapper and suave. Albion staff didn’t even adhere to their own rules, flaunting runners and ripped jeans, a shocking fiasco to be a victim of. Any gentlemen that have an ‘exotic’ hairstyle such as spiky short or long hair, and by association your group will be barred from entry. I urge you not to go. 0/10
Great atmosphere, mixed crowd from mid 20's to mid/late 40's.
Nicely arranged and awsome music (mix between dj and live) that was on Sunday night
Kind of ad hoc dress code but dress smart just in case. Security is a bit strict but they keep the crowd clean. Upstairs is really nice and the dance floor has plenty of room with a fairly quick service bar. Bathrooms have plenty of room in them and are the some of the cleanest I've seen for a club (dance floor ones)
Roof Top is Good. Food is Good. Alcohol is Standard. Staff are Nice. Like Live Band. Glad you could Smoke up there. Things are just Different Post COVID-19. Wasn't very Busy but it was a one of the FIRST Sunday Sessions for 2022.
Valentina was a the perfect waitress for the night highly recommended her, knows how to have a good time and looks after everyone thank you so much:)
A really great venue, with great house music up on the rooftop and big-room club vibes in the main area downstairs. Saturday nights
I love this place? It's been my local for years. Enjoy the chilled Friday and Sunday vibes. Saturday is heaps of fun too if you're at a clubbing age
Bar staff and security are super sweet and look out for everyone.feels very safe!
