Greek food was good. Restaurant also offers entertainment which is a plus. Helen was very kind and attentive to our party group.

Band for entertainment was very good. Belly dancers was great & good atmosphere. It was a multi function night. Good fun dancing during the night. Service for the tables was not very good though. Overall it was a great night.

Don't let the muted exterior fool you, there's a lively experience to be had inside!

Such an enjoyable night with the banquet option proving to be an appealing assortment of delectable food. I was able to try a variety of Greek beer, then a dancer came in to perform a show and get the whole room up on the dancefloor.

A night out for my father-in-law’s 80th birthday with his wife. A live band was performing traditional Greek songs, which really made them happy. I complained about charcoaled lamb being too burnt, but they did get me another plate, slightly less burnt, which was pretty much unEdible for me, there seem to be lack of staff and The food was slow to come out. The venue was half booked out. Sign of the Times after Covid. I think this venue has been going for a long time but anyway my in-laws had a great time and that was the main thing. A belly dancer also entertained us, All I can say to management or the chefis do not burn the meat. It’s not good for your gut.

A Melbourne dining institution of the highest order. Tradition, atmosphere, food, culture and service of the absolutely highest quality. This is a must visit, it’s not just a meal, it’s an experience.

I organised a dinner at the Aegean to celebrate my Dad's 70th birthday and it was fantastic! The food was fresh, tasted good and heaps of it! The staff were attentive & helpful, the band and belly dancer were really entertaining and organising the whole thing was painless thanks to Helen who handled our booking. Will definitely be back for more!

Kudos! A great open place with outdoor/open space for smokers. Great food and service too. Closed a little early on a Saturday night for my liking but I loved dancing on a generously sized dance floor.

We had a christening party here tonight the service was realy good very well organised, the food was wonderful, everything was nice, fresh cooked tasty & plenty of food everyone was happy Thanks to owners & all the staff!

New years eve here was a memorable one, staff and owner was obliging, food delishious, fresh and plenty of. Dancing is always a must for me when it comes to Greek tavern type establishments and entertainment was right on!

An institution for Greek food. Measured servings with the set menu but very delicious and filling. Somewhere where you can still dance to live Greek music

Worst restaurant we have ever been to. Table of 8 and paid $440. Ask what's in the banquet and no one give a straight answer. Mystery banquet? No options for veg food. What we got was 2 dips platter and after 1hr or so we got 2 mix grill & 2 seafood platter to share between 8 of us. Trust me we stopped on the way home to McD. Service was way too slow. Food was really bad. Will never recommend to anyone. Yeah, Live entertainment was good.

Excellent service, ambience lovely, great food. We were there for private function and enjoyed the fuction room with dance floor.
Dips, saganaki, salads and beautiful bread, Seafood platters and meat platters with roasted potatoes ending with fruits and a variety of greek sweets. Lovely evening.

OMG, such a smooth run caring, attention to detail family run business. The service, food and ambience is amazing. Great food, it just keeps on coming. The customer service is faultless, wether your eating as a couple, family or celebrating a special event, The Agean caters for everyone. Great place for kids, and great music. Highly recommended.
