The Academy Brand South Wharf DFO

I came here earlier this week to shop for myself and my son.we were helped by a brunette girl who was super friendly and sweet with my kid. She made our whole shopping experience a lot easier and more comfortable:)

There is no option of 0 star, otherwise i would have given that. Not for the brand, specially for the staff working there, very unfriendly and unapologetic for the mistakes they have done, of placing wrong discount offers on the cloths & not even sorry of this & rudely saying we can’t bill it & you can just leave… with very unkind gestures.

Rude customer treatment.

There was some error in my account regarding some credit. During my purchase the very professional man at the counter check out man couldn’t help so he called his manager.
The store manager came out and I quote exactly what he said “ I don’t care if the information is not showing in the email or on the website “ he was aggressive, rude and unprofessional.
The guy at the counter intervened and explained the situation professionally, he said he will email the Headoffice to fix the error. He handled the situation so well.
So disappointed for a brand to hire a manager who obviously needs a lot of training.
Because of manager’s rude behaviour and lack of professionalism, it is very unlikely I’ll ever go to this store again.

Good range of clothes and plenty of sizes available. The reps at this store are great, helpful and approachable.

Staff has been playing with phone the whole time without even looking at customer to offer help

The clothes there are always my go to (they fit perfectly, especially pants) but I have to say that the staff there is USELESS. While I was there (looking to buy 4 pairs of pants and some jumpers for the upcoming winter) the staff looked more interested into talking to eachother about their weekend and start talking badly about my girlfriend who only asked for availability of one of the pants. Definitely taking my business elsewhere.

I love it here. Staff are very friendly. First time we were here, it was already 4: 45pm. Last staff in the store still allowed us to shop (they close at 5pm) and waited for us finish. Went here again recently and staff were as friendly/helpful as our first visit. And more importantly, quality of clothing is tops! Pretty good discounts all year round too.

I love this place. I discovered the brand at Birkenhead Point in Sydney and was delighted to find they have stores in Melbourne. The clothes are really good quality and perfect for me. I'm particularly impressed with Jumaid and Mitch at South Wharf - great service gentlemen.

Great quality linen shirts and nice trousers. Great service by the team, especially Louis!
