The Abbotswood Motor Inn

We were looking for an overnight stay before getting in to the ferry to Tassy and this place was perfect for that. The rooms, linen and bathroom was clean. We had a good sleep as well. It was value for money.
Overall, if you are looking for a place to crash in your onward journey, this is just the place and the host Phil is helpful and ready to assist.

Really standout service at this place, owner was super helpful and understanding even though we had made an error with our booking. The apartment with pool was much more spacious than we anticipated and very well-maintained. Thanks for an excellent stay!

What a perfect cozy nest. Central Location. Phil is very kind and genteel. Rooms are amazing! Very spacious and clean. Have all what you need for a stay. Close to a coffee shop and other amenities. Definitely recommend.

Was an absolute pleasure staying here no problems at all, beds comfortable rooms perfect great bathrooms, the owner is one of the nicest blokes sorted everything out at short notice great location close to Geelong close to Torquay close to shopping centres, great pool and very clean will definitely be staying there again!

The staff was amazing, the room was comfortable and just pleasing, the beds were comfortable. The taco truck had friendly service, and were kind. This place is a must stay.

The staff are amazing and the rooms are brilliant and clean. Quick easy check in and a bonus was the Taco truck on site with really friendly staff. Location was great, facilities are awesome. New owners have made this place amazing. Highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!

We stayed there last night rooms were clean, pool was clean and very usable and the manager of the hotel is very friendly will definitely stay again

Don't stay here with kids! No restrictions on times in communal area. Owners and guests stay up late sitting around BBQ area (table outside the office right near rooms) drinking and smoking into the night. Was a very unpleasant and sleepless 2 nights.

Saw that abbotswood was under new management so decided to give it another go! The change under Phil is significant, friendly staff, clean rooms and the pool was working!

Maybe old and decor a little outdated but very clean and for the price its well worth it staff friendly and check in very quick and easy

Dropped in for a meeting today and saw first hand the excellent work that the new management team are doing making improvements to the motel.

I booked through Expedia 2 nights at the motel the indoor heated pool was the main feature as I have 2 kids thay like to swim and knowing the weather might not be able to go the beach. Arrived with family today to find out the pool was closed no told me, otherwise I would of cancelled, also there is a big sign out the front saying indoor heated pool. So we had to come home. There was no other accommodation in geelong very unhappy if I could give 0 star I would

Lots of teenagers have the party for whole night next to me, cannot believe such a bad hotel management, I could not sleep

Horrible, terrible. The staff is so unfriendly. The kids play area is just a patch of land, overgrown grass and dirty. Not nice at all

Friendly staff, bit dated but very clean, drinks available at reception, tv with internet, not the comfiest beds but clean and motel has a heated pool my stay has been peaceful, also got an early check in ️
Has updated air conditioning heat/cooling, bar fridge, little table n chairs, microwave but no plates/bowls or cuterly in room. Room is fair spacious. Shower was warm for good time and big. Bus stop just out the front and close drive to shopping centres and restraunts on highSt and waurnponds, approx 2-5 mins drive.

Rude receptionist, room smelt like smoke, linen had hair from previous people staying. Refused to move me to another room due to the room not being cleaned.

Tv would not work when owner was told rude response. What's the point in having a tv in the room if it doesn't even work.
