I had a Som Tum Seafood and a Tom Yum Goon takeway from here recently. The seafood in Som Tum was very fresh and both squid and prawn used were decent sized and sweet. It was probably a bit hotter than I am use to to so I recommend asking for a mild version next time. The Tom Yum Goon was also very tasty but a bit saltier than it should when having it on its own but if you mix it like a gravy into your rice. It would be perfect. Recommend asking it to be less saltier but it may not be possible due to the paste they used to cook the soup.
The dishes here are more affordable compared with other Thai restaurants.

The freshness and generousness with the vegetables really stood Thaiger Rabbit out from other restaurants. Felt great every time I've been, and made for yum, colourful dishes. Favourite entree: Tod Mun fishcakes. Favourite main: Crying Tiger beef. Fav dessert: the ice creams. Fav drink: signature cocktail.

Top notch Thai food! Owners are super friendly. Good amount of spiciness in every dish.
I go here weekly cause it's so good.

Thaiger Rabbit by Ying Thai is a Thai restaurant located on Victoria Parade in Abbotsford, Melbourne.
The restaurant is located on Victoria Parade, which is easily accessible by public transport and is close to several other shops and restaurants.
The food at Thaiger Rabbit is generally very good. They serve a range of classic Thai dishes such as Pad Thai, Green Curry, Tom Yum soup, and Massaman Curry, as well as some more unusual dishes that are worth trying. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
The staff at Thaiger Rabbit are friendly and attentive, and are happy to provide recommendations if you're not sure what to order.
The atmosphere at Thaiger Rabbit is relaxed and casual, with colorful decorations and a cozy vibe. The restaurant can get quite busy, so it's best to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
The restaurant is generally clean and well-maintained. The staff are attentive to hygiene and take care to ensure that the restaurant is kept tidy.
Unfortunately, parking can be a bit of a challenge around the area. There are some street parking options, but they can be limited and you may need to walk a bit to get to the restaurant.
The prices at Thaiger Rabbit are reasonable for the quality of food and service on offer. The portion sizes are generous, so you'll definitely get your money's worth.
The interior of Thaiger Rabbit is colorful and vibrant, with a mix of traditional Thai decor and modern touches. The lighting is dim and the music is lively, adding to the overall ambiance of the restaurant.
The restaurant is located on Victoria Parade, which is a busy road. However, there are plenty of shops, cafes, and other restaurants nearby, making it a good location for a night out.

They gave our table to someone else cuz we were 5 mins late. That was tough. After speaking to the owner of the brother, I feel for them. Keeping the business going after numerous lock downs isn't easy. Will come back again!

This is my FAVOURITE Thai restaurant in the world I am in love. Their pad see ew is impeccable one of the best I have ever had, it has this awesome smoky flavour too it. I’d also highly recommend the crying thaiger. Portion sizes are large and tasty. Always impressed with their food. I’m eating it right now as I write this review it’s just so good ️

I happened to dine at the same time as the lovely Tania below. The food, especially the curry was amazing. Tania, you were so bloody rude when you were speaking to the waiter and how dare you bring children into your argument who were also dining. If you don’t want to hear kids talk and play while eating, stay home.

Great food team and great service! Loved the sticky rice:)

Best pad Thai in Aus! My partner and I come here from Adelaide each time we are in Melbourne. Fresh & delicious!

Since writing my review, the owner of the restaurant wrote back and called me a “greedy, dine in and dash” customer who was looking for charity. Also threateningly said they still have video footage of myself and don’t bother coming back. Like that was a possibility!

Dear owner of Thaiger Rabbit, don’t threaten your customers. Don’t accuse your customers of not wanting to pay when it was your waiter who offered the refund. And above all, listen to feedback rather than posting derogatory posts.

The food here is average and the non alcoholic drinks are totally overpriced. I ordered a red curry with crispy pork ($23). The pork was practically non existent in the dish. Instead there were roughly chopped veggies which were undercooked and literally swimming in a sauce that was ho hum. When I complained the waiter got defensive. Don’t understand all the rave reviews. Our local take away does better.

Foods are really good with the reasonable price and generous portion. Too bad the waiting time take quiet a while.
Ambience of the restaurant is nice if its not busy, but if it's busy I can day it's quiet cramped. They have 2 floors but I'm guessing they open the 2nd floor only during peak hours. We came on Saturday afternoon and almost all the tables were full. It's a bit cramped. Only 1 girl working in the front and also only q people working in the kitchen I think that's why foods came out quiet a while.
But the restaurant decorated with Thailand's authentic decorations that are really cute.

I go here with my friends about once a week.
We love the "Crying Tiger" spicy beef & I always pair it with the delicious coconut rice.
I may only order one dish every time but it's always refreshing and tasty.
Staff are always so kind and welcoming to us!

Outrageously good. Our group sampled the green and red curries, pad kee now and sliced chicken with coconut rice and ice cream for dessert. Beat Thai I've had in a long while!

House cocktail is phenomenal and the peanut sauce is out of this world. If you are looking for seriously good Thai food, look no further

We shared the spicy Thai rice and green curry - both delicious (and gluten free). The serving sizes were massive, flavours balanced and vegetables used were super fresh, chunky and slightly chargrilled. So good! Our new fav Thai restaurant
