TGI Fridays

We went for Monday dinner and was not very busy still the waiter was making a rush serving dishes to the table.
Hope they improve from here.

Although a little pricey, I found it a great place for a celebration. Food was good and the staff very friendly. Very nice cocktails, and if you eat there during happy hour some of the cocktails are half price. Definitely going back for the next celebration.

This is probably the most disappointing TGI Friday in Melbourne. The place is not much wider than a thought, too dark inside, and noisier than other places due to many birthday parties. The food is tasty, but the atmosphere feels more like a pub, which is a letdown.

We had Rosie for our waiter for the night and she was awesome very friendly, helpful and very nice

My salt and pepper calamari was stone cold. I told the waitress and she replaced my meal with another stone cold meal. Serving seafood cold is a big no from me. I will never be going back here. Bad customer service, overpriced food and slow service.

Pretty average all round, service was poor (slow, had to ask several times, no crockery or cutlery provided) food was very average $17 for 4 potato skins) using the online ordering was horrible, trying to become a member (you had to to get the $10 drinks was troublesome). Not a pleasant experience.

Food was great and tasty, but the service was really good. Very helpful and made sure to look after us.even though a desert was missed, the service and how they went about it was great.

We went to TGIF for a late dinner about 8pm which is pretty much close to when the kitchen will close but as we didn't book early, it wasn't much of a choice. Tip: Try to book early if you can. The food was good and so were the drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Eden - a wiz with the drinks. Get him to recommend and prepare something for you.:)

The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and cozy. Very relaxing. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. The food took some time to come and they got a couple of orders wrong which they were most apologetic. We got a free dessert and drinks thrown in for this. All in all, I would recommend this place.

Average food. The burger buns tasted stale and cheap. It's a shame as we used to love this place.
Also, we were seated at a booth where the seat was covered in crumbs and food on the floor below the table. The rest of the restaurant was empty.
The waitress explained that we could order through the app or wave her over. She then proceeded to walk back to the door where she stood with her back to us. We wanted to order through her, so we waited a bit, but it became apparent that she wasn't going to turn back around so we just ordered online. Nobody even acknowledged when we stood up and left as our bill was paid online. It was honestly just a strange and disappointing experience. We'll head over to YOMG next time.

I've been to a few different TGI Fridays over the years and this branch was well below par. I don't know why but the food missed the mark big time. Fries were oily and under cooked and the mex nachos (a go to favourite at TGIs) were soggy and tasted bad. I'm glad I decided to order as I went along, so after the first course's I left before wasting more money. I gave this two stars instead of one because the staff were very nice.

We have proof of exemption and identification yet that's not good enough, may be you guys need to update your staff what's acceptable and what's not.

TGI Fridays is a classic for a reason. Amazing cocktail list, all well executed. The food, while varied, is delicious. Make sure you check out the seasonal specials, some fantastic finds on there.

Staff are always super friendly and the service is quick!

The service was generally good but the food was amazing. I had fish and chips which were great. My son thoroughly enjoyed the chicken nuggets whilst my wife really enjoyed the burrito bowl. Will visit again.

I booked a table in for me and my boyfriend for a nice anniversary dinner. The staff were friendly and explained how to order through the QR code well.
However, I ordered the Chicken BLT without bacon; to my surprise it had bacon on it. When I asked a staff member to give me a burger without bacon, they took my dish away and brought back a burger WITH BACON ON IT. At this point I had become quite frustrated as my boyfriend had already eaten his meal while I was still waiting for mine to come out correct. Third time’s the charm and I finally get my meal the way I ordered. It definitely wasn’t worth the wait.
I can understand when the restaurant is busy and you’ll occasionally get an order wrong but when you’re supposed to fix the issue and you bring back the wrong order again, it’s poor service.
Thankfully, the wonderful Liz talked it out with her manager and we were able to get our drinks on the house.
Definitely could’ve been a better anniversary but I’m thankful for how understanding and apologetic some of the staff were.
