Tetsu reviews
7This place is always a fascinating place to visit. Japanese pressings of LPs, 1970s hifi, quirky devices, souvenirs over several decades. I've picked up some fascinating odds and ends here
If you are into Japanese artifacts or items, this could be for you. I thought it was a bit pricey
I love this place. An eccentric and very interesting place with great stuff. Very helpful staff member and I would urge everybody to visit at least once.
There are so many incredible, unique items from Japan! I could spend a fortune here.
If you’re a fan of Japanese culture and unique antique items, I’d absolutely recommend you take a visit!
Finally, got down there today and it was well worth the trip! Enjoyed the small taste of Japanese culture and was able to find myself some unique gems. A special thanks to Deb!
Like many OG locals, the recent closure of Kyo for retail has broken my heart. BUT FEAR NOT! Members of the extended Kyo family, Tets & Deb have opened a curated version of Kyo a short drive down the road. I discovered it Saturday and have since gone into what can only be described as a “Japanese Antique Frenzy”.
I have bought many items and now my home and garden are groaning under the weight of wood and bronze items from Tetsu. I’m looking forward to using my forge and steel brands to make authentic Japanese artefacts. I have several items on hold and I’m a huge fan of the scientific & engineering antiques. Can’t wait for my next JobKeeper Payment so I can get more antiques from this treasure trove!
Honestly i found it not much of amazement. Most of the things are not arraged, and half of the place is still not open or accessible, there still boxes unopened. Well if you want to find a treasure, your definitely gonna dig in here. You would find old records, cd's, and old kimonos.friendly owner and they play japanese songs too. Surely will come back soon. Hope to find better treasure this time.
