Went for the tulip festival, they were very apologetic about the tulips being less then ideal, worst part were the rule breaking people trotting on the remaining tulips

I havd been to many tulip festivals and this one is now my favourite. The venue is decent enough in size with lots of varieties of tulips and quite scenic really. The drive to the venue itself was beautiful especlly as we went through tbd Dandenong/Ferntree Gully forest area.

One of the highlights of the place was they had quite a few food stalls. Restrooms facilities were nice and clean.

Viisted on Sunday the 15 th oct, i love this festival and have being previously. There shouldnt of being a charge at the door, knowing there were no blooms. We were charged full price and given tickets for next year. There should of being an option or no charge. I was checking website too but no notification of anything. The previous week i visited the Alowyn gardens and they had a notification on their website saying the wisteria was now in bloom.
It was the last day and min effort compared to to other years this festival is on.

Time is now and next year the circumstances might be different for people.

Nice place for a picnic. But there's nothing much else to do there for the price you pay. Take a picnic and go in a group because seeing everything only takes 30 minutes. They gave us free passes for next time because the flowers bloomed too early this year.

Wow! Don't tip-toe - RUN to Tesselaar Flower Show. Bring the kids too. Something for everyone. Rides. Food stalls. Games. And of course - those wonderful tulips.

Bit overpriced and the truck ride doesn't stop downhill. Seems like a money grabbing event than what it used to be.

What a delight to take my Granddaughter to an event during the school holidays, she loves the fields of flowers and I enjoyed the whole day and surroundings.

Other than the one flower field the experience was underwhelming. Great potential but a missed opportunity for 2023 visitors.

Come at the wrong timing wrong month.so best to visit in september. About 1 hr drive from puffing bailly

I buy plants from Tesselaars and they are the healthiest, happiest plants to buy. They arrive well packed and in great condition. They can only be this way because they are raised by professionals and packed by professionals.

My whole experience was amazing. Great view, beautiful tulips, awesome environment. I’m looking forward for next events…

Good festival and vibe in overall. Lots to eat and some occasional performances. May slightly let you down as there’s not really much real tulips/flowers to show.

Its done for this year! If anyone has missed it make sure to visit next year in april! U will love to have photos there! But i think the farm can be more with flowers instead of long walkways! But if u never seen the tulio garden sure you should visit!

Tesselaar tulip festival is one of the best places to visit. It's nice to see so many different tulips at one place. Good places to go with family. Food trucks available. The ticket queue is not that long but if you want you book online tickets as well.

Like any young family, we are always looking for events to take our child to experience, so this farm trip was a no brainer. However, we ended having a sad experience. My daughter who is 4 was the first to volunteer in the Dutch Dance at the show. The 2 dancers in clogs decided to give the free tulip pens/flowers to adult participants who COULD dance better. The disappointment in my child was evident for the rest of the day. We did end up purchasing one for her at the shop but my child still felt she did not do a good job dancing. What was meant to be a nice day out made her feel unworthy. So to say the least, we will not be returning.

Only few flower spots, many blank spots with no flowers. Not as beautiful as I expected. I've gone to a flower festival in Toowoomba l QLD, and the Tesselar's beauty is not even comparable to it. However, if you don't really mind about the flower and expect an all-in-one family destination, then this place may be for you, as you can see performances, find some flower and face-painting shops, food stalls, and activities for kids here.

Our 2nd time to visit.first during the Tulip festival. I love the tulips better but if you are a flower lover, then it's definitely the place to go! $29/ person and kids are free. Some activities for kids like face painting, fairy hunting, maze, fairy shows. The shops sell flower bulbs and seeds.

Really not worth during public holidays!
You pay 30$ per adult just to be in the crowd not the flowers. Huge crowd made it super dusty!

Please visit during weekdays.
