Terrara Park reviews
30Great place. Clean facilities and always plenty of friendly folk with well behaved doggos.
Shame dog owners don't clean up after their dogs where kids are trying to play sport.
Amazing park! It's got everything for families - awesome playground, a massive soccer field (home to White Horse Soccer Club), and three cricket nets for training buffs. The best part is that dogs can join in on the fun too! There is a clean and well-maintained toilet facilities for visitors.
Looked fantastic but staff were a little rude. Kids needed to change and because we weren't the home team we had to use public toilets, there weren't enough for all the kids to get changed but the 15+ change rooms we could not use. Lovely fields just disappointing.
Loads of parking with a large flat grassy area for kids to run, ride bikes, fly kites etc when not being used for cricket or soccer. Nice kids playground too. New facilities for soccer and cricket clubs (closed when no play). No spectator seating so bring your own.
In the under 10s my teammate knocked a kid out and his dad ran on to the field and started choking him
This is a great park great for letting your dog out for a run and some of the best public toilets around
Lovely park with a gorgeous playground. Great place at any time of day, and safe at night. Bathrooms are always clean and open, making it a perfect hangout spot for all ages.
Excellent rebuild of the facilities. Only problem is drainage and placement of the cricket pitch which is usually waterlogged with moderate rain. Great for football and other activities.
If you are going with your friends, or to an organised soccer event, then make sure to ask the event planner to see if the toilets are available as no toilets or changing room are available if they say no. They will be locked out from anyone trying to pee.
Great park featuring two large ovals. An off-lead area that is a haven for dogs and newly-refurbished central building.
Good size park to take dog to. New club house for soccer. But playground needs to also be updated. Maybe some exercise bars could be added so that people would visit more to do exercise there!
This is a very pleasant park for exercising yourself, and your dog. There is plenty of space, a view across to the hills and a friendly neighbourhood atmosphere. More seating would make it even better, we took our own, easy enough coming by car but not idea if walking from home.
Son played soccer there on the weekend.away game.
Great park plenty of space.
Grass looked after well.
Though not sure what it'd be like after a week's rain in winter.
It's in like a water catchment.hopefully good drainage.
Also looks like a new stadium/club is going up.
Should be awesome when finished.
Great pub.
Counter lunch for seniors is $9.95 and excellent value. Garlic bread $2.50, yummy desert is $2.50.
Regular prices are affordable.
Had Chicken Maryland for lunch. The chicken had a mysterious slightly burnt fantastic taste. A must have next time.
Dinning room in excellent condition with friendly staff.
Really nice area. Lots of room for sports, playground for kids, quite a few dogs around. Only real problem is toilets said they were for sporting activities only from what I saw and had padlocks on the doors. May be resolved when the new building is completed, there is a lot of work going on but doesn't impact parking or the areas mentioned above.
A very large very open finally grassed Park. It has room for 3 cricket grounds and probably 5 soccer pitches. It has lots of parking and an excellent kids playground. It is an off leash dogs area so you will often see many people or groups walking dogs. The grass on it is a very fine leaf low and regularly cut type of couch grass. There is not much shade on the actual grassed area.
Now that the Pine trees along the Terrara Rd fence line have been removed it has opened up the park. Great improvement.
Terrara Park has a big soccer field and clubrooms, plus a playground for the children. There is a row of mature conifers at the Western end of the field and the whole can be used for dogs off-leash.
I play soccer at Terrara Park and visit 2-3 times a week.
The public toilets are always pretty clean.
The club rooms are very outdated and small.
A new development is about to begin to enhance the club rooms and all facilities.
The real downside to Terrara park is it is also an off leash dog park. Unfortunately there are a lot of inconsiderate dog owners that don’t clean up their dogs poo and we consistently step in it or the equipment gets covered in poo too, dog owners also allow their disobedient dogs to run over the bags/equipment and even disrupt the training sessions.
The dog park needs to be controlled better.
