Terra Madre Brunswick reviews
49Excellent shop it has the best products so yummy and reasonable prices and excellent service
They sold their car park, I have tried to park nearby a few times since the carpark was sold and had to go somewhere else. Now I don't try anymore.
Have this issue where the isles just dont end for me lol.i just walk endlessly down an aisle and it goes on and on and as soon as i turn around im back where i started.it freaks me out.i think its cool half the staff dress like Stardew Valley characters though
Not very pleased with this place. On several occasions I have bought things like spices from here that were only a few weeks away from expiry (which is not normal as spices usually have a few years before expiry). What was even more indicative of what kind of establishment this is was their denial of any fault. They refused to let me exchange or refund for this item that was clearly unused and nearing it’s expiry date. What kind of grocery store sells nearly expired goods? Additionally, their staff is always aloof and sometimes rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Very popular, I think it's Terra Madres' second location.
Convenient parking within walking distance, you can also push your trolley to the car park and bring it back afterwards.
Very helpful and friendly staff
I recommend that everyone go to Al Alamy in Coburg to buy dried fruits and nuts instead, they’re fresher, cheaper and taste better! The loose dried nuts at Terra Madre are tasteless like cardboard, they have a strange flavour, like eating dusty clothes of a senior citizen, possibly due to storage or processing? I bought pecans, almonds, walnuts and cashew, and have thrown them all in the compost. Gross and unsatisfying.
The muesli/snack type bars are delicious though, and they have decent range of fridge goods and potted plants.
The vegetables seem a little pricey. I think nearly $4 for a corn cob is a bit rich. I wouldn’t be able to afford to do a full weeks fresh grocery shopping here.
Definitely a place to shop for particular items, but not a one stop shop for everything.
Although this is a bigger store and easier to move around than the one in Westgarth, I still luv the nooks and crannies and the overall shopping experience at Westgarth. The service team at Westgarth are friendly and engaging and say hi with a smile which makes you feel welcome.
Excellent grocery and fruit shop
Mostly organic
Competitively priced
Unique style
I recommend
Lovely place to shop. Quality foods, great selection of items.some I wouldn't have expected to find and all at reasonable prices.
I love shopping here and come here on a fortnightly bases. They have an awesome range of high quality organic, health and earth conscious products at great prices.
I do wish their customer service would improve as several staff members can be unfriendly and unwilling to help. The lady that served me yesterday at the beauty section had a nasty attitude!
The paleo almond cookies are worth the trip alone. The selection and prices are excellent.
Cheap but alot of missing stocks.
Be careful guys, I don't know what's going on, more chinese produce! You can't honestly think, organic: china?
Beat grocer around especially if you're trying to reduce waste & for health conscious options
Having shopped at many organic stores through Qld, NSW and Victoria this place is hands down the best you can find in my opinion. Outstanding range of products, great prices and super friendly staff and ample parking. You would be hard pressed to find and organic retailer that can tick each of these boxes.
Large organic store with products ranging from fresh food to medicinemedicine, highly recommended
The best place to shop for organic groceries in Brunswick. Great selection of healthy foods, very well priced and loads of variety. I prefer this store to the Northcote store because it is much bigger with wide aisles
If I tell you how good this place is, then you'll all come. So, I want say a word. Loose lips sink ships.
We came on a saturday afternoon and most things were not restock then. Managed to get a partial load of what was on our list. Shop is nice and spacious
Giving it 3 stars and not 1 purely on the basis that the store is roomy, much more relaxed than the northcote store and has all the basics that you need.
The negatives of this store are there are a few staff that really lack customer service skills. The shelves are often really bare when you come here and every time i come here there's always at least two things i need that they haven't restocked yet. Could use some more variety and exciting things on the shelves.
I'm done with this place. I went there for eggs & avocado oil only to find no stock. If you're looking for a supermarket with empty shelves go to Venezuela or Terra Madre Brunswick.
