+ Dishes were tasty and decent serving size.
- They totally forgot a whole order of appetisers. We were starving by the time we got our mains and had to take away the appetisers.
- BYO is also not allowed.

Very nice location and ambience, however, the table was very sticky and dirty. The crockery was chipped, and the food choices were limited.
Would not be visiting again due to the above reasons

Was invited to a friend's party. There was food for days.substantial is a truly underrated word. Here's a sample of what their boodle fight looks like. We couldn't finish the food, the portions were quite generous. Will def come back again to try their a la carte dishes!

EDIT:
Came back again finally and it took me way too long. Brought my non-Filipino friends with me this time and they raved they had to tapao. We had a boodle fight again and the staff/owners were so kind to make an adjustment for us as there were only just three of us and boodle fights needed a minimum of 5 people, just to offset the cost. We met the owners who were a couple - Anthony and Tina - and they were incredibly nice and warm people who deserve their success! Loved how they both were very hands on - doing everything around the cafe, no task was too small for them - and they would talk very nicely with their staff, and visit tables and chat with the patrons. When praised Anthony gives all credit to God Overall a very nice dining experience with amazing Filipino food - possibly best in Melb if not in the whole of AU - will def keep bringing friends here to try!

Ordered nutella crepes and coffee which took more than 25 minutes to come out, (wasn't even a rush hour). The crepes were cold as anything and you could easily taste the raw batter as it wasn't cooked completely. I mean they are crepes what took it so long to cook and that too raw. Upon enquiring they insisted that it was fresh and kept touching our food telling us to check the temperature inside which it wasn't. The prices too are ridiculously high. Don't waste a penny and your time go somewhere else.

One of the best Filipino food I have had in Melbourne. Must try. Worth every single dollar spent here

Went on a Saturday for dinner.

The family atmosphere, delicious filo food and live band takes this place to 11.

Recommend.

We used to enjoy the food but with the additional selections this recent, some of the old favourites deteriorated in quality, became smaller in serving size and has considerably overpriced.
We ordered their Pancit con Enelsie and was hoping it would be good because they attached their name onto it. Sadly, my family was so disappointed as it seemed they forgot to season the noodles, nor add enough vegetables and decided to just top steamed canton noodles with their bagnet. It did not sit well with my family sadly. The Chicken Inasal. Hmmmm.does not look and taste like chicken inasal at all but more like grilled chicken with too much sauce. The Pork Bbq is so so.and tough. The Pork Bagnet was not bagnet all - it looked like it was all fat and was not crispy but just cut up pork chunks and really tasted twice fried. Quite hard to chew even with the sauce. The Super Max Fried Chicken had good flavour on the skin but as you go to the core meat part, it was overcooked and tasteless. The banana catsup mixed with worcestershire sauce that came with it did not add any Max feel to it. Gave them a chance and ordered a few times to prove to my family that maybe we were just unlucky those times and the kitchen was not being attentive.but it was always the same, we were disappointed and felt like I did not get what I paid for. It is sad as the staff are really friendly and the restaurant looks nice with after the reno - nicer and cleaner than the usual Filipino restaurants we see around. I hope they shift and recognise that it is more important to be consistent with the quality of food so they do not lose customers and word of mouth is a strong advertising tool. Of course, ambiance helps but at the end of the day, it is good, clean food which will bring customers back. Ambiance will come second.

We ordered the pinakbet, liempo & bagnet, kare kare and ube cake. Unfortunately, only the ube cake is good. The liempo is ok. The Kare kare is the worst.: (Looks like they are trying to make a new version where they make the sauce from real peanuts instead of the usual peanut butter. I get it. Everyone is so creative. It would've been great if executed well but sadly, the sauce is tasteless and the texture is weird. The bagoong is burnt/bitter. The pinakbet is also different, but it's edible. Lastly, if you are from Ilocos, that was not bagnet. They cut the meat up and then they deep fry the pieces. If you know, you know. I hope they improve these dishes or just cook them the traditional way.

Service isn't great.
1. Since we ordered a lot of dishes, there was no room for the pinakbet. Instead of making room, the server gave it to me and walked away.
2. I went to the counter to order a dessert and ask for a couple of containers for the left over. I paid for both and only the cake was given to us. The entire staff was eating at a table and since no one was looking over at our direction, I had to go over there to ask for the containers. (diyahe) I has to ask that same girl 3x since she doesn't seem to understand what i was saying or recall that she forgot to bring me the containers I've paid for.: (One of the other staff understood and jumped to her feet. Sigh.

The place is cold, and the surface of the table is sticky.

Dinner last night was not good as before. Grilled pork liempo meat is tough. Pork bagnet is not crunchy, skin is chewy.

Highly recommend, we couldn’t fault anything! Sizzling Bulalo & Dinuguan were our favourites, but the Pinakbet was also really good! Will be back to try more for sure!

My first time Philippine experience.
Absolute no idea what to order.
Order from chef’s recommend in the manu. I ordered marinated grilled chicken with garlic rice.
The flavour was nice and good portion. Just suggestion from non Philippine back group customer side, if you have more photos of menu, would be appreciated.

And please place the price on the sweets.
The restaurant is in the middle of residential area.

We enjoyed our dinner here, the chicken inasal was so good and I requested for chicken adobo instead of whats on their menu and they agreed the staff are lovely!

Had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and it’s all pretty nice. Everything is about $20 but it’s pretty good value for the food. Food is Authentic and nice. Service is good depending on mood but overall it has always been a good experience over the times we’ve been there.

The dishes were undeniably super delicious. They were carefully cooked to make the flavour go down to the core; so tastily rich in flavour. It has achieved the level of real Filipino dishes. I was not impressed with the interior though. The floor was not beautifully polished.

What an amazing first time for myself trying Filipino food.
Went with some friends and each got a meal each and a few things to share. The balance of each flavour and portions were spot on.
We got the beef tapa, cebu chorizo; with garlic rice, milkfish, bbq pork skewers and kare kare bagnet.
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and would definitely come back again.

Very disappointing! Last Friday (22nd of April), my boyfriend and his mum went there for dinner. They did not get their food for an hour after paying for all the food they ordered. They were the first customer to order and the last one to get the food. They had to go up to the casher and ask where the food was and she told them that the docket was gone missing. This is not the first time they had the food late. It is so frustrating! Never coming back there again.
