Cosy little place that I keep coming back to on my way to appointments in the area. The sashimi is really fresh

Wonderful for coeliacs. Every care was taken to ensure my meal was safe. I had a poke bowl, and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I went with a work group and everyone enjoyed their meals. Upstairs room was also quiet. If I lived in Melbourne I would definitely be returning.

Lunch at @tengumelbourne from a few weeks ago: no frills place for nice poke bowls! I got the salmon poke bowl with soba noodles - good to have a refreshing poke bowl with soba noodles as the base! Good flavours.

The lady who served me and my friends was so friendly and easy to talk to, the food was amazing it tasted beautiful I will definitely be coming back next time im in melbourne

Absolutely fantastic, lovely staff and food! Tried all the meat dishes, I can recommend them all, especially the katsu curry!

A gem in the Melbourne CBD. Family owned and run. Quality produce prepared and served with care and a smile. Definitely worth a visit.

Had the spicy tuna bowl was super fresh and plenty of protein. The workers are warm and welcoming. 100% would recommend

Super busy at lunch time. Had the katsu chicken curry which was delicious. Both the chicken and the curry were great. Decent sized portion as well.

I went to this place during lunch time, it is a great place to have lunch with colleagues. The food is pretty good. Loved Tofu Soba and Chicken bowl. The staffs are pretty nice and friendly. With quality food and quality service, I will definitely visit the place over and over again.

Have been coming to Tengu for a while now. Best sushi in Melbourne and I'm always met with a smile and a chat even when the shop is busy and staff are swept off their feet.

I've been eating at Tengu for well over 1 year and it's about time I gave it a review. On top of the great range of quality food, the service is professional and friendly.

I had the spicy salmon poke twice at Tengu and although I went to quite a few restaurants while in Melbourne, I feel like this was by far the tastiest dish I tried. I loved the option of switching out the rice for soba and the different flavours came together so well! The staff was very friendly too and there was a good selection of drinks. Definitely recommended!

Came here for a team lunch and it just a perfect spot.
It was booked out and still they managed to fit us in.

Came here for lunch to talk salacious work gossip with friends. Excellent quality food, I had the salmon poke bowl with soba noodles, one of the best I've had. There's extra dining spaces upstairs which is actually a nice cosy dining experience. Highly recommend

The food looked amazing but our takeaway vege rice paper rolls contained just lettuce and vermicelli! We'd expected at least a little tofu.
