Ten Miles reviews
20Order 2 lots of rice with roast pork plus duck and 2 lots of noodles with roast pork plus duck. I thought the noodles was dried noodles but instead it was noodles soup. The staff who served me told me my meal would take 40 mins to be ready why would a simple noodle soup or rice takes bloody 40 mins to prepare. They made me go 3 times to pick up my order. When the final pick up I was thinking I would pick dried noodles with bbq and duck but the staff said I didn't tell them I wanted dried noodles, the staff who served me didn't let me know that the noodles comes in dried or wet. If she had let me know about it when I ordered then I wouldn't have been pissed off with service or the staff member who gave me my food who argue with me that I didn't let them know when it should have been them letting the customer know that there was 2 options to the noodles, whichwouldyou like. Very unhappy with the way I was treated, poor customer service.
Terrible service the girl with grumpy face. She doesn’t know how to used the crown member when we ask to used our card for discount. She shouldn’t stand in front & take order if she not train properly. She just terrible.
This is below food, not even my dog who has hapititus would eat this stuff. Pure putrid served on a plate. Disgusting to say the least. Waiter told me “qu ni de” which actually means (f off) in Chinese! Beyond poor customer service and lack of options. Absolutely HIDEOUS AND RANCID PLACE
Really poor and clueless customer service here.
My friend ordered a dish and the staff member did not know how to operate the EFTPOS machine and had to call a manager.
Shortly after, we then tried to order off the regular menu and was told by the same clueless staff that they only sell things from the NYE specials menu (even though it was New Year’s Day). Not to mention our friend was able to order from the usual menu and the people after us as well.
Please train your staff better. 0/5.
Happy to charge 15% surcharge for public holiday but can't even give us a straw for the drink we bought, the excuse was ran out of stock because of public holiday.
Hong Kong Cafe at crown
The woman Staff is very rude (work on 15 Apri 2022@ 8 pm to 10pm)
I would like to order noodle
And I ask where I can place the order
She said here and turn around and talk with other staff and drink water
She did not take my order
And I ask again
She rised her voice and said I drink water
I wait for her more than 5 minutes for drinking water
If you want to do that, you should have a break
During you work, you supposed to think about service to customers first
Please be well traing your staffs
Especially FOH staffs
I pay money for that, I suppose to receiving good service and good products back
If I could give a quarter star I would. It is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. It was the blandest food I have ever had. Only upside was it was so bland I didn't throw it up as my stomach did not recognize it as food.
Only people who would willingly and knowingly eat at this establishment are people who go to the casino - they too have no taste. We ordered here only out of necessity.
My advice.just keep walking.
Visited this establishment for lunch today and I found the service staff to be quite rude, not waiting to hear people's instructions for their orders and then becoming very frustrated when customers went to correct/clarify. On top of this, the pricing structure is quite expensive in terms of value for money - $16 for a small plate of food that is mostly rice. Additionally, they charge you an extra 15% on public holidays which is exorbitant in terms of what you receive. The food was tasty but not worth the money or the poor service experience.
I am not sure what happened to this place - Ten Miles Eatery. May be it is under a new management. I like Chinese & Japanese food and used to eat there from time to time. Last experience was horrible! Cold food. Bad rice, absolutely not the same as it used to be. Both beef and chicken had a funny taste as if they were not fresh and just the sweet sauces were hiding the aftertaste. Terrible! Both me and my wife couldn't finish that meal. First time ever I had a stomach ache in half an hour - an hour after that. We will never come there again and don't recommend others to poison themselves. Casino should be checking on these people and their products. I wonder how it is possible to allow such business to feed people with rotten non-fresh beef and chicken as if nobody care what food they sell in Casino.
My mum bought a wonton noodle soup today in Ten Miles. She found the wonton tasted sour. She brought it back for a refund. The lady was extremely rude, told her no. Later she said that she needs to bring it back to the kitchen let chef to taste it. But she simply walked into the kitchen, came back told her they would refund. They then told her they would not take responsibility if she had food poisoning symptoms as they had refunded. They also wanted to take the receipt back as they said they had refunded it. My mum barely speaks English. She wants to take a picture of the receipt in case anything happened. The lady took a picture of my mum without her consent, she said she need it. My mum felt very uncomfortable this afternoon, she felt she nearly had the diarrhea, luckily, she did not. We did not expect this level of service happened in Crown consider the average price is higher compare to other similar places. Taking picture without my mum's consent is totally not acceptable, if we were there we are going to call 000.
THE. WORST. MEAL. EVER. I cannot believe how bad this food was, prepared without any effort or care, with barely any ingredients, thrown together by someone who doesn't understand how to cook, only how to heat stuff up. Some kind of tofu fish chicken disaster and my partner had udon noodles with some friend onion and barely any seafood. This is appalling, and expensive as well. NEVER AGAIN!
Ten Miles does not exist here any more!
It is Man Tong Express, not to be confused with the upmarket dine-in Man Tong Kitchen within Crown Casino.
Food was very ordinary - beef in black bean sauce was OK but calamari was almost inedible and fried rice was tasteless.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered the roasted duck noodle soup. Noodles over cooked soggy, hardly any soup but not missing it as it tasteless almost like water. Mum got wanton noodle soup same. If your thinking to eating fast food here I suggest better off having KFC or McDonald's.
An embaressment to asian food. Food is tasteless, dry, duck noodle soup has no flavour, chicken ribs has no flavour. Avoid like the plague.
Eat here at your own risk. Saw a staff member leave the toilets and walk straight back to work without washing their hands.
Worst meals I've ever have in crown. Expensive and the food is below standard. Crown should kick them out from their premises. The chef didn't even know how to cook properly. Shame shame
Found this place last night and couldn't be happier I did! Had the chicken curry with rice and and the fried noodles with salt and pepper chicken. SO GOOD! Struggled to find a Chinese that I enjoyed since moving here and as it was a food court me expectations weren't that high. Was a little expensive but I would pay the price twice over for how good the food was. Will 100% be back and recommend to anyone looking for great food in the Crown complex.
Ordered roasted duck, xiao long bao and beef brisket noodles. Xiao long bao and beef brisket noodles were very nice, the roasted dcuk was ok, but overall, it is good.
Ordered a fish congee and waited for 20 minutes for it and there was no buzz from my buzzer, I finally went to asked them for my order, it was sitting there in a plastic container and it was cold. They did not press the buzzer to let me know my order was ready. I took it back because it was cold they struck the takeaway container in the microwave I am sure the container is not even microwave safe. Terrible!
I Paid top price for nasty food. The worse char kwe tiao I ever had. It was burnt and bitter. My family had noodles, nasi lemak, and they were all disappointed. Tasted plain and lack of spices. Staff would give you rude look when you taking a little bit time to think or ask for more cutleries. Go some where else. Not worth any penny.
