Temptation Bakeries Cafe & Factory Outlet reviews
34Delicious excellent value. I thought that pies like these were gone forever, but they are alive and well at Temptation bakery.
These are with out double the very best pork pie I’ve had outside of England on 20 years. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you so very much. Cheers Nigel
Absolutely Beautiful. Came quite a few times now. Great environment, lovely vibe, and delicious food.
Best Sausage Rolls we have had tasted in Australia.
Even brought family from overseas to taste how good it was.
The ladies couldn't have done anymore for us, lovely people, very kind and friendly whether your sitting in or takeaway.
Can't wait to see you again ladies ️
Definitely the worse pork Pie I have ever eaten. Bought from Woolies, the meat was totally bland no seasoning in it, and the pastry was no better, sure it had no butter in it just margarine or shortening. Pastry too thick, no jelly and little meat
The ones at Coles from Pattchett Pies are 100 times better

Pork pie a miss. Bought from Woollies. Was hoping for English Melton Mowbray style pork pie but unfortunately this wasn't it.
Hidden gem in Chelsea. Amazing hot chocolates (five stars) very very good value for money. GREAT range of take-home frozen pastries and quiches etc - they are extremely high quality! Kind staff members, all round great spot!
Ex worker here, if your wondering what the cleanliness state of the factory is? U would be worried as when I was working there I saw a lot of black mould on all the production lines, and they say it’s clean. Also because of dodgy management they push the workers to the extreme so if any problems happen the works are too exhausted to care so lots of random objects land in the product. So maybe next time instead of lying to your workers about work maybe do your job properly.
We bought your pies just to try them they were labelled Steak and Mushrooms.
We tried to find the Steak and the Mushrooms no luck just gravy and pastry that needed an angle grinder.
We'll stick to National pies in Tasmania

Bought pork pie at Woolworths Southport. Very dissatisfied. Pastry thick and gooey and the meat tastless and gritty. Fed it to my dog.
Worst place to work, TOO MANY BULLY AND VIOLENCE.
INCIDENT ALWAYS IGNORED AND OVERLOOKED.
BE CAREFUL, DONT BUY ANYTHING IN HERE FOR THE SAKE OF THE WORKER.
PS: WAIT FOR THE FAIRWORK TO COME AND CHECK ABOUT THE VIOLENCE.
I went here on the 12th on April and remember getting the shepards pie and hot chocolate which were both lovely as. The crust of the pie was great and the hot chocolate was better than most places.
Delicious pies and baked goods at very reasonable prices. Quiches for $12 with lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. Plenty of frozen party food also.
Bought chicken pies however was given beef pies. Returned the pies as do not consume beef. Must say I was not happy but also have to admit that the young gentlemen who heard my complaint was very understanding and apologetic which made this bad experience end on a good note. Such staff should be commended. Thank you mate.
The quality has dropped dramatically i bought chancky
meat and pepper corn pie hardly any meat in it but I got potatoes in it also the pastry was 10 mill thick terrible experience never again i will Buy from them
I bought the 2-pack of Portuguese Tarts and 2-pack of Lemon Tarts from Coles to have in the freezer for "that occasion when. " Well! I'm sorry I didn't have them sooner as the Portuguese Tarts were to die for! Not stingy on the custard filling and the pastry was not so thick that it detracted from the filling. I can say the same for the Lemon Tarts too! Plenty of lemony filling and the thinnest of flaky pastries that didn't turn soggy from the filling and held its shape to the last mouthful. Highly recommended
We have going to Temptation Bakery cafe and outlet for nearly 20 years. Fantastic pies, quiches, sausage rolls, muffins, cakes and more.
You can buy them to eat there and then, or buy the frozen product and take it home for later. Of course there is coffee, tea and cild drinks as well.
There is usually near perfect product available at a discounted price.
Bad experience, won’t be returning. And if I see their products on any supermarket shelf, they’re NOT an option.
Great food, friendly staff
Now I can enjoy some premium pies and Quiches close to home as well as when flying premium airlines
