Telstra Store reviews
41 Very pleased with friendly staff and excellent service over last few days.
Vinuri was so helpful and patient assisting with upgrade to new phones.
A day or so later internet issues at home meant Michael had to help with hotspot gadget.it was an easy fix and meant I could continue to work from home. Kim was wonderful helping my husband with the samsung watch redemption offer. Thank you
Excellent service and Jaz was awesome at setting up my service! Great customer service and way better than Telstra Wangaratta who rate a 1 because you can’t give a 0
2 visits to store to get NBN connected. They don't listen and now on phone trying to get help. I am terminally ill and this is urgent
Well run Telstra store. Lost my I phone overseas & Jasmine helped me recover data & add to new phone. Very patient & understanding of Grey hair IT impaired!
ZERO STAR RATING went to store late yesterday afternoon and it was empty, no staff. I waited for 5 minutes and left. I realised on leaving the centre all the employees were at the front of the shopping centre screaming laughing and swearing like a bunch of rowdy teenagers (i thought they were school kids until I saw a their Telstra logos) Their behaviour and presentation and language was appalling. One was identified as Kim and was screaming and swearing across the car park. They were laughing so it was not an emergency situation. I am glad I did not proceed with a phone from them. I went to Big W instead bought a phone and a sim card from Aldi. Looking at the reviews this seems to be a common occurrence. UPDATE & REPLY Despite the fact there may have been an emergency the staff out front of the shopping centre was loud, aggressive and out of control. Swearing loudly across the car park (Kim) and they all seemed to find the situation quite funny as well. They were acting like a bunch of thugs, not letting shopping centre customers navigate in and out of the centre freely and safely, including myself. Nonetheless it is poor behaviour by your staff. Maybe your staff were the instigators of the "emergency" situation that required police attendance?
Super poor initial customer service. The customer rep who initially greets new visitors needs training on how to deal with customers
The most unhelpful Telstra shop in Australia
Spend $1000 per month with Telstra
Switching provider based on my experience with Wonthaggi Telstra
I called into Telstra in Wonthaggi yesterday to report an issue with my broadband service and my account credentials.
I was delighted to be met by Aaron, the new manager at the store.
This young man certainly knows his stuff technically. But more importantly, he knows the importance of providing the best available service to his customers.
I’ve been a Telstra customer for many years.
Yes, I’ve tried Optus in the past however, whilst Telstra has had its ups and downs over the years, (particularly after the initial privatisation period) my recent experiences clearly show me that the company appears to have learned from its mistakes.
The company seems to understand that a good customer experience is essential in order for the business to grow and be sustainable.
Certainly this is the attitude that Aaron displays.
My congratulations to Aaron and the team at the Wonthaggi store.
Keep up the great work.
(Disclaimer: I’m an old fella and I own Telstra shares dating back to the first sale of Telstra shares in 1997)
No customer service skills, no manners and no idea. 2 staff both fluffing around. It is time for a secret shopper to call them out. They do Telstra no favours. Never again
Stood in the store for fifteen minutes and the two girls just ignored me. It was like the had no customer service at all
On a recent visit for an elderly friend (Eunice Wright) my wife and Eunice were attended to by Ash. Ash and the other staff were super, and very payient. Job well donefriendly and efficient.
Went to wonthaggi to transfer my sons phone into his name (an hour drive to and from) now over a month and a half later I’m still trying to get this completed due to the royal stuff up and lack of paperwork being submitted by the store. Useless and wouldn’t bother my time walking in there
Wonthaggi telstra you guys are awesome!
Outstanding customer service.
Thank you for helping out my mum today with her smartphone! You guys went above and beyond. BIG thank you to KIM from the first phone call you were amazing and so helpful
You made our day.thank -you
Absolutely shocking service stood there waiting for 30 minutes whilst staff where busy then another staff member arrived told him what I wanted told me out of stock asked him alternative he told me to just buy SIM as I still had modem but he could not help me and the only staff member who could was not available for 30 minutes came back to be told they don't have SIM and to buy one at Coles and come back and they could activate it came back with SIM stood there for awhile whilst staff just looked at me and 3 of them all staring at a computer trying to look busy finally guy asked young staff member to assist us and she just rolled her eyes back needless to say we left.shocking service go to Harvey Norman for any tech issues hands down there service is astounding 15 minutes in there and we had everything we needed Telstra why bother should be there motto!
Yeah nothings changed over the past year. Useless and unfriendly staff then and now. No idea why bother having a store here.
I'm truly finding it hard to find anything positive to say after our recent dealings with Telstra Wonthaggi.
I had to get a new phone on short notice, which I did, & the young lady who we were dealing with, absolutely stuffed my existing plan 'extras' (that I pay for).
Would not recommend.
We went to Telstra for help in activating a sim card to enable us to use our phones in Australia. We had tried to activate it, but after fruitless tries had given up.
Ashley and Maddie, at the Telstra store in Wonthaggi, worked with both of our phones until both are now working. They performed a miracle we think.
Could not be happier with their service.
Absolutely rude and awful customer service. Worst I’ve experienced in years. Avoid this place if you can
Georgia was extremely helpful. Staff member who also helped us, (sorry
cannot remember her name,) was very helpful.
Wouldnt even bother going in store. Been told twice to call up because its easier (for them). 1 star is generous even though its the loweat rating you could give
