Walked in twice now to upgrade my phone and after standing around for a few minutes walked out. Did the upgrade online instead.

If I could give zero stars I would.
Want to be treated with respect and listened to? DON'T go to Telstra, Sale. Want a sales person that looks after you and phone that is in your price range? DON'T go to Telstra, Sale.
The store staff talk over you, don't hear your complaints or apologise for their mistakes.
They will not transfer your phone apps/files to your new device: it is common practice for this store to send their "valuable" customers across the road to the (friendly) phone shop who will undertake this service with a $30 fee - this should be a free service to ALL customers in-store.
If you haven't made up your mind about the phone/service you would like - they will blatantly push products, plans and services on to you and say they can't order a phone in for you (only provide the most expensive option) - including fudging income status on their forms, where there was no income.
In an attempt to rectify this situation (i.e. Return the very expensive phone contract and device), I was shut down completely by the sale staff I spoke with - he was extremely rude and without empathy. I was told that there was nothing they could do. In addition, when I asked for the complaint to be raised, he said that nothing would actually change and then begrudgingly lodged the complaint.
The complaint line service has been wonderful - the device is being returned in-store (NOT TELSTRA, SALE) - with a much more affordable phone being purchased outright and a pre-paid service being set up.
If you are not tech-savvy, or you haven't made up your mind about your phone - do not go to Telstra, Sale - they prey on the vulnerable and have no moral compass.

Terrible service took money for a recharge voucher as they were mean to help change phone to a prepaid never did it lucky we were able to have it honoured over the phone. 4 of us walked out today due to wait time dont want to go back

Visited the Telstra shop in Sale Victoria to buy an iPhone 14 Pro Max but the did not have any. They said to go to another shop in Bairnesdale
Service was great but not many phones in this shop

So went in to get some help for my broken phone. What was genuinely just needed was a new charger. (Would go across the road to the phone shop for way better service) The staff in the shop were incredibly rude and only offered me the most expensive option. They did not even look at the phone. I understand they are not technicians but the way I was spoken to was incredibly rude. Not to mention that the staff member wearing the long black jacket rudely up sold products to an older gentlemen who quite clearly didn't understand what he was buying and was almost forced into purchasing the products with how rude and rushed the staff member was. Would save your time and just call Telstra for any issues.

The customer experience at the Telstra Store in Sale has been abhorrent for me and for several of my friends who are uneasy about expressing their views publicly on their own experiences in the Store.

The pretentious, entitled attitude of the staff is obnoxious. Last week, I attended the Store with a friend who had a concern about her mobile telephone service. When she raised her concern, in a very, very polite manner, a staff member, perhaps the Store manager (as no staff members introduce themselves), asked my friend to leave the Store.

In addition to the real need for the floor in the Store to be swept and cleaned, at least occasionally, Telstra needs to consider using a ‘broom’ throughout the entire Store.

I am very happy with my Telstra service. I am repulsed by the Sore in Sale.

The service and attitude of the staff at the Telstra Store in Sale are appalling. If any support is required or if any issues require resolution, the staff in the Store are arrogant, rude, and disrespectful. Furthermore, if you have the requirement to question information that the staff in the Store allege that they have provided to you, you will be asked to leave the Store.

I have been a Telstra customer since Telstra was formed and have always respected and continue to respect and value the Telstra telephone support service. However, the Telstra Store in Sale provides only a toxic customer experience and causes immense harm to the Telstra branding.

On the basis of my deeply unpleasant experiences, I recommend to customers that they find an alternative to the Telstra Store in Sale if they require any support related to their Telstra services.

Tried to activate a prepaid SIM with my old number, staff could not. When I said store in Port Melbourne could do it last week response was "so go back there and do it". Was a difficult case as previously someone had commited fraud on my account but staff could not resolve the issue after 3 visits to the store.

Darcy was extremely effecient with resolving an issue with my phone. He was polite and gave me the best possible deal. I hope Telstra value him as an employee. Judie

Disgusted. Worst customer service I have ever recieved from Telstra staff. There arrogance and degrading way in which staff spoke to myself, as a lifetime customer with two business accounts through Telstra, this is appaling. Particularly let down by the manager who couldnt have showed less care. All round, i'm done with Telstra, thanks to the team at the Sale Telstra store

Went to this store last week and the staff did an amazing job of welcoming me making me feel individual didn’t seem robotic or forced and this also showed when talking about products that would suite my needs. I didn’t feel like they were just trying to sell what they were targeted to sell but what I genuinely needed! Keep up the amazing work

Sold me a 50$ sim recharge that they told me would have 50GB of data on it. Ended up having 35GB When I checked my device, store staff refused to do anything to rectify this and instead tried to sell me another $20 sim to get me back up to 50 GB. Terrible experience and straight up bad customer service.

I honestly hate the people working there
I was first introduced to a smug boy with hair that had to much wax he offered no help, he tried to shove me out there door, when I came back with the required things that he said I needed he then proceeded to say I was not an account holder, so I then left the store called the account holder and told them that I needed full acces to the account, I then walked back into the store AGAIN and he smugly said we are going to have to send your phone away so Telstra can look at it! Instead of sitting down and talking it through with me he just yet again tried to shove me out the door. That boy should lose his job or get a whole new attitude, will never ever go back to this store and don’t recommend any body else to go there either
