Tesltra's online service told me to go to their Telstra store in person to provide the service I needed. Came in 2 hours before they have to close, and the staff was unbelievably negative and cannot seem to maintain professionalism when under pressure. He said there was no way he can serve me to do and went on to complain about his whole stressful day. Anyway, he told me that I can do it online. But then online, they said I have to do it in store. Week later, I went back to the same store and was served by the same staff member! Again, rude and has a lot of complaint - keeps showing me his schedule and that I need to "do the math", told me I should have gone in earlier. My goodness, how very unprofessional. I'm all for transparency but this is just a bit much, making the customer feel like it's my fault your store is busy and you do not have enough staff. Just say, I'll put you on the list but please be aware we are incredibly busy today or offer to schedule an appointment for next time or something. Do these people even go through proper training or what?

I was told by Telstra online service to visiting a Telstra store with a case number to resolve my account issue, customer service in this store was the worst, staff there saying if online messaging service can’t resolve my issue they can’t help as well even without try to see what’s my real issue is in Telstra app. Then I went to another Telstra store and my Telstra account issue was resolved in 15 mins.

Average service and understaffed.
Asked to wait 1.5 hours so I could upgrade by plan. Skipped across to Vodafone and done with 15 minutes.

Went into the store as Telstra website not working to change plan for elderly individual
The Telstra (change plan) website did not work at the Telstra shop either
Telstra staff are totally useless no understanding of how difficult it is to deal with Telstra
I feel sorry for all the elderly who do not have anyone to help and do not know how to use an app
I suppose they will have to sit on the phone for hours on hold!

Telstra still the biggest joke in Australia!

I went to the Camberwell shop and was immediately advised to leave the store despite showing up an hour before closing time and no other customers in their store. Ok so I went to The Glen another day and Victor at this store was so polite, professional and helpful and cool. He also applied my loyalty points for a discount. He got a sale and I will go back there for further assistance in future. Cannot express in words my gratitude for his advice and expertise, he was magic. Excellent staff at Glen Waverley and I regard this team highly and with much respect. Sadly cannot say the same for the Camberwell store, maybe they were having a not-so-great day and not enough staff, say, one guy at the time, to be fair, for context. Would like to give them another chance but given my experience at the Glen Waverley store I think I'll cut to the chase and just return there instead. Thank you Victor! Five stars all around. You're part of a great team there, keep up the good vibes.

Very bad customer services.
First of all i when in the shop then i wait for 15 mins.the consultant or team member to serve me, in about 20 mins of time a team member said his computer play up and tell me to go to the waiting area someone will assist me.then i wait for another 20mins until i talk to them how long do i have to wait, 5 mins later a differnce team member serve me, he is ask all the question again, take 20mins or more to complete, its take about 1.5 hours to jiont a 5g plan.the second issue after 3days later the modern dilivery to my door and ask my photo id to collect the parcel, the dilivery guy check the name is not identical thereford the parcel have to return to sender.thirdly why a team member so careless, i have to call them finally no one answre my call i leave message no responding.i give no star

Came here once to ask about porting a number to Boost. The guy who I spoke to immediately said “We’re not Boost” (before I even explained the situation mind you) and gave me a look like this emoji: I tried to explain but he simply did not want to listen and was adamant “Telstra isn’t Boost, you have to talk to Boost” I left. Guess what? I went to another TELSTRA store where they actually helped me out with the CHOWN. The guy who “helped” me was a clown.

Went to a couple of Telstra stores and they where absolutely useless and had no customer service, went into Telstra in the glen and met the manager and he put me onto Witty (sales consultant)

She was absolutely great and really helped me out, the manager was also great and saved me lots of money as my insurance may not of covered what happened.

Thanks Witty and the team at The Glen Telstra.

I had a very bad experience with this local Telstra shop today and their staff members were not very helpful at all. I had a modem issue and Telstra approved a smart modem swap over order (with a new modem) at a local shop earlier. I then went to this shop first thing in the morning today (around 9: 25) and got told they could only give me a second hand one as they had sold out all the new ones. Today is Telstra Day and you were telling me you didn't have any Telstra smart modems in stock first thing in the morning, whilst all other Telstra shops nearby (smaller than you) had them in stock when I rang them up in the afternoon?

The staff member and the manager (Cxxxxx, Lxxx) in this shop promised me that second hand modem would be fully functional like a new one. But when I asked to power on the second hand modem for a test (at least the 4G backup would work without cable connection), surprisingly they refused to let me use their power supply in the shop? ! After I told them I would walk out to use the power supply outside the shop to test if the modem worked, then they immediately told me the 4G won't work as the second hand modem/sim card was configured to the previous owner's account and I would need to call Telstra Technical Support to reconfigure the modem and they cannot reconfigure modems in the shop any more (due to a very recent Telstra policy change). Subsequently, I called Telstra Head Office and confirmed this was not true and the local shop should still be able to configure modems and help me out in my case.

@Owner/Evie/Kellie/Bek, suggest you provide extensive mentoring and training to you shop staff members including managers to make sure your shop is not only running for sales but also great customer support too, otherwise you may just call your shop "Telstra Sales Shop".

All staff was on there phone, no one want service us.
When they came over to us, they said they were going to close but the thing was it was just 4: 30 and they close at 5: 30. As a professional company, I can barely see how passionate they are to their customer and the way they work were so disappointed.

This store does not stop harassing you even if you tell them to stop. Would suggest going to another store or doing everything online if possible.

I visited the store few weeks and was greeted by a man wearing Turban. He welcomed me politely and told that the staff is busy and he can get me served in 40 minutes but will also call or text me when someone get free. After 25 minutes i was called and was served by Jason who helped me with my query and also provided the best service i could possibly get. The staff was great and they do have waiting sometimes but I belive the wait is justified. I will definitely visit this store again. Overall my experience at Telstra- The Glen was great and there is no other Telstra store i will go.

Very poor experience, almost one hour waiting time and poor communication skills. I transfers my mobile plan to Telstra. I’ve got a broken “new” SIM card. Then I’m gonna with SOS in the whole day! I have to apply sick leave to change another SIM card tmr.

Wanted to purchase a phone outright at the shop. Staff member with a turban was rude and slow. Doesn't seemed to sell the products. Anyway walked into optus and got the phone. Anyone better to avoid this shop.
