Working with Tekspace has helped us to think more about IT and what it does for our business. Rather than hire internally again, we made the decision to engage an external provider. When you hire an in-house IT person, it is difficult for their knowledge to improve and change – especially when IT isn’t our core business. By working with Tekspace, we gained better access to problem solving ability. There’s a far greater breadth and depth of knowledge, which is spread across their entire team.

Last week, we had an internal meeting with more than 50 people in attendance. One of the first things the leadership team spoke about was the positive experience they have had with Tekspace - the quality work, problem-solving effectiveness and how lovely the help desk team are to work with.

Before Tekspace, we were working with one of the largest MSPs in Australia. Naturally, we had doubts about whether moving to a smaller MSP was the right choice. But the transition has been really positive - and when you get feedback like that, you know those doubts have been dealt with.

Tekspace’s senior cloud architects are fantastic, service management is proactive (we now have sufficient IT stock!) and the service desk are always willing to put forward ideas and solutions to permanently fix our problems.

I’ll soon be leaving the business in my role as IT Infrastructure Manager, and I’m leaving with full confidence that Tekspace can take over once I’m gone. It also means that the business can hire a replacement that can focus on our business, rather than our technology.

That’s really positive.

From day one, I didn’t want to cruise along. I wanted to be challenged and have opportunities to progress in my career.

Starting out on the service desk and climbing up to Service Delivery Manager, I was always supported by senior management to face new opportunities and learn from them – not only in my day to day job, but also with training and courses.

Tekspace has a tight-knit support team. Problems are solved quickly because everyone has a solid base of technical knowledge - with specialisation that others can lean on – and there’s a focus on learning who clients are and how they operate.

The culture of the company is open. As an engineer, you get exposure to parts of the company you wouldn’t normally have (like marketing and operations), you can always ask questions and have input into decisions. You really get a sense of where the company is going and what you’re contributing to.

I worked at Tekspace as a Service Desk Engineer. One of the best things about it was the exposure I had to large-scale business systems, and the access I had to senior engineers. I learned a lot, technically. But what I didn’t expect to learn was the interpersonal aspect of the role – and as you work with clients over time, you build rapport with the regular faces.

Tekspace has a transparent, ‘no-nonsense’ approach with their clients. In my experience, the team was always willing to share the thought processes and help clients understand the cost implications of their decisions.

Tekspace was prompt most of the time in responding to phone calls to the Servicedesk but the time it took to resolve technical issues impacting our business was alarming at times. In saying that, they did have scheduled onsite support on a regular basis but we also experienced formidable daunting delays when certain applications were failing or outages of connections to our network and servers. We found the techs polite and well dressed but sometimes lost in knowing how to technically resolve something.

Id give them zero stars if possible. The company doesnt treat their staff fairly and steal wages from them. Frank is a dishonest man as you can see in the reviews, and a very shady character although he may not come across this way. He's a weasel, a bully and the perfect example of a boss who exploits his staff but he does have a cute little teenage girl's car.

Very poor workmanship. They werent able to provide effective solutions to our business requirements and the technicians didnt seem competent. We have found a much better outsourced company at lower costs who can deliver. Do not make the same mistake we did.

Every time I have dealt with Tekspace, they have been able to fix the issue straight away or asap. The guys I have spoken to are really friendly and happy to assist with any little issue.
