Teesdale General Store & Post Office

Massive revamp and great place. Hot and cold foods grog and post office. They should be proud. I'll stop in here regularly

Stopped in on the way through town. Fish & chips were tasty and well priced.

They had heaps of orders on the go, but still managed to get mine done in under 20 minutes. The staff were friendly and communicated the estimated time and they hit the mark!

Only downside for me was the price of soft drinks.

Unfortunately gone downhill since it changed hands. No friendly local touch anymore where you knew each other by name, local bakery bread replaced by Routleys which is always stale regardless of when you buy it. Very disappointing. New owners are nice enough, but no effort made to become part of the community when they don't live kocally

Very good range of essentials, and delish assortment ofouth watering food. The team are also all very helpful and kind.

We are only new to Teesdale, our post goes to the shop which is always easy when collecting. Tonight we had fish and chips for the first time from here, it was a very very busy night for them for orders - I ordered around 6: 15 and picked up at 7: 00, it was incredible well worth the wait! Delicious, fresh & not oily at all. Great job to everyone at the store, thank you!

Well stocked little gem that offers nearly everything for a local community and passer-bys. Friendly staff.

Excellent icecream is what brings me back, but my wife recommends the sandwiches. And good coffee. Prob not quite but deffo >4
