Customer service could be better. Got an e-mail notification saying that our photo print was ready for pick up but a middle age staff member said it wasn't, and refuse to even check for us.

Lisa and the team at Doncaster are fantastic. They always look after me even when they are busy. Doncaster is notorious for having impatient and sometimes outright rude customers and the team do the best they can to help everyone. Lisa is a great leader and an amazing person. And her team are also great.:)

One of the worst customer service ever. I have never had such a bad experience like this. Some of the staff are soooo rude and also their manager Rick is the most rude, useless personI have ever seen. He BREACHED their own policies and not only did not do his job but also tried to shamefully blame me and others and when I showed him their policy regarding their error he said” I DONT CARE”. I fixed my issue at another Ted store with their lovely friendly manager and staff member with no questions asked as it should be as per company policy. I DO NOT recommend Doncaster Ted store to anyone.

Just went to the store and wanting to take a baby passport photo. Told by the lady with glasses at cashier no digital photos can be taken from 5pm but at the same time another younger staff member said to the cashier lady she can do it for us and told us to come back in half an hour after the customer in front of us finished. So we went back to the store in exact half an hour later at 5.10pm, both staff were gone and one of the male staff members told us they can't do baby passport photos after 5pm and said the girl who told us to come back is a new staff member and shouldn't tell us they can do it. Such a waste of if time, you guys really need some training to all staff.

Not sure if staff discriminated against me because I was Asian or because I was young. Ended up going to another Ted’s store where I was properly and respectfully served.

Ted's has had a high reputation for years and this was so with me yesterday. I went to Ted's at Westfield Doncaster hoping to buy a near-new Olympus. Staff member Lisa and I had already spoken on the phone. Sure enough, she had exactly the right model and at a reasonable price. She gave great advice and deserves the five stars.

Sally and Damien are wonderful. We came to take Visa application photos for my 3 years old son who wasn't cooperative. They were so patient and helpful in getting it done. Thank you guys.

These guys have 0 knowledge of camera gear or even what they sell in the store, needed a lens filter they said they didn't sell them when they were clearly in the store.

They have one of the worst customer services in Australia. Before I buy, they were nice. When I decided to return the item in less than 20 minutes, they refused. The guy who needs a training said why you didn’t decide before you buy! You didn’t read the receipt! Then I found out that they don’t return items even if it’s not opened! It’s unbelievable how a such a policy is allowed. They new that many people will probably return their items because they have very expensive product comparing to other stores. Therefore, they put a sign in a tiny and small font that returning is not allowed.

Some of the staff was nice, some not so welcoming. Tried to keep an open mind as I’m sure they might have had a off day, don’t think I’ll be going back unfortunately.

Hi,
me, my wife and my son took photos for our passports a few day ago. The Photos are terrible, stuff so arrogant, unprofessional and rude. I had to take photos in office work again.

Ted's Cameras Doncaster has been very helpful multiple times to me. Lisa went out of her to help me figure out if there was dust on my lens or sensor and was very helpful. The access to a film lab is also quite awesome.

Couldn't of asked for a better experience. Staff were kind and patient and very knowledgeable when dealing with my beginner questions. Special shout out to Lisa who met me at the front door and guided me through options to suit my preferences. After deciding on which camera to get, she took me through how to put it together and even fitted the lens filter for me. Incredibly happy with my purchase and excited to get shooting.

I took in 2 reels of film into the store 3 weeks ago and was served by Lisa. Lisa helped me even though on that particular day the computer was having some issues and we both were not sure if the payment went through. Nevertheless she took down my details and it was decided that when I came to collect my negatives i'd re check that the payment went through. Naturally I was understanding that none of the IT issues that day were Lisa's fault. Fast forward 3 weeks later I receive what I believe to be my scanned photos through my email onto to receive someone else's film. I have emailed the store asking to be contacted as any normal person could understand the level of concern of your photos being sent to someone random. For a process that is so lengthy I find this really careless as photos are so personal. I have received someone else's photos this evening mixed in with half of my photos I expected and it's totally not fair on the people who's photos I have received either.

It's a shame I even have to write a review but unfortunatley it calls for it. I'd really hope someone can get in contact with me in a timley manner to rectify the problem. Plus I really would hope that the reel of photos I have waited 3-4 weeks for is not lost or destoryed. Just as I'm sure whoever's photos I did receive is also waiting for their photos.

I can’t believe the former reviews for this store and for Lisa. I came across her today and she was soooo disinterested and bored. No smiles, no hi how are you, just grouchy. When I went to get my photos after an hour she went and got them then walked towards me full mouth open yawning. Between her and Tammy they need to find another job away from the public…sure we all have bad days but Lisa’s bad day is every time I’ve been there

Ensure the background for overseas passport photos are correct. They are usually white only

Lisa is an amazing employee and store manager. She absolutely went above and beyond for us today when my son and I were trying to return a faulty product. Not only did she call stores for us and find a replacement she even offered to drive it to another store for us herself. Thank you Lisa you are a champion. I can’t thank you enough for all your help. I really wish you were our local Teds store but certainly will come over to Doncaster when we are not so time constraint.

I bought a compact tripod and a LED light today. The store was busy on Sunday but a young sales rep (Darcy?) was very patient with me, a novice photographer, and explained how to use the light and tripod using a similar camera that I had. When I brought a camera and a lense at the Chadstone store, I received excellent service too. I regularly buy equipment online but I've realised that if I purchase goods from a reputable store, I can't go wrong. Thank you
